There was a guy in the DCSki forums who would post about laurel mountain..western PA receives 100-200 inches of snowfall a year in good seasons. JLAW has told some epic blue knob tales and apparently there's a good place to watch trains nearby.

Bring in your tropical plants. People are freaking out about frost already. Mid October is normal for first frost and rest of the week will be fairly mild.
