Yeah but mad River Glen sucks. They were open like 40 days this season.

Blue mountain was one of the last areas to be skiers only. They didn't allow snowboarders until 1996-97 season.

Bernie is fucking terrible unless you wanna pay more taxes. He's like I'm gonna break up the banks and tax them. Where are the banks gonna get the money for the extra taxes???? $15 minimum wage lol...companies will just layoff employees to cut payroll. Free college..wow....free healthcare...wow just wow...free daycare....how are any of these things gonna help me. -

St Mary's in Colorado was the winner there with 46" from the last storm. Elevation plays a big role. The base of Jackson hole is completely bare. -

Congrats RideDE on most days skied by PASRs this season at least according to stats. I believe the Dude4Bides skied more days but doesn't track stats on here.

Sibhusky marijuana is supposed to be good for migraines. Wyoming is a great state for those who are averse to escalators. Only two sets of escalators in the entire state. I don't know if I ever told you but I used to be an elevator operator. The job definitely had its ups and downs but as long as nobody pushed my buttons, it was all good!!!

I remember once my mom got me the wrong kind of poptarts...it's a hard knock lyfe!!! MomSkeez looks like your a fan. -
MomSkeez have you had issues with altitude sickness before? Only like 10% of the population does. I have researched it before because I suffered from altitude sickness when I went to Aspen five years ago. Signs of altitude sickness are headaches, lack of appetite and vertigo can occur. The last three years in Colorado I stayed at just under 9,000 feet in silverthorne and was skiing mainly from 10-12,000+ feet and had no issues. I don't know about hiking to 12,600 feet your first full day but by the second you should be ok. My only advice would be don't hang around at the top to long. Also I advise hiking earlier in the day, it's cooler and afternoon thunderstorms are common in the Rockies in non winter months. Here's some generic but helpful tips. http://www.snow.com/for-her/altitude-sickness-tips.aspx

Barb you got lucky. 100mph wind gusts at Abasin and lifts not running there. Lifts are running at Loveland. 70 is apparently closed somewhere east of Idaho springs.
