  1. If it's so flat how do I have the speed to fly through titty deep powder..widow maker is a 30 degree slope. Avalanche terrain
  2. I figured he'd be wearing some stunnah shades gotta protect your eyes!! Pond skim was changed to tomorrow is gonna be sunny and Sunday gonna snow. Snow should start around 8am and continue till the overnight hours. Sunday is the definite closing date talked to a longtime employee on the lift. This weekend to me is a bonus. Tell Matt edge to bring his famous 7 layer nacho dip...I'll bring the chips!! They don't need to make any snow. Coverage is fine. Narrow in spots but fine.
  3. Nice article. Tanner Hall is the man. Haven't checked accuwearher forums all day. Will check later I don't think this is gonna be the humdinger they were talking about yesterday. I'll be happy with a few inches new while we ski Sunday. Shadows behave!!
  4. Widow maker was good!!!
  5. Big difference in temperatures right now. 44 at mount pocono, 55 at blue and 58 in the A. Some of the best spring conditions of the season today and the high winds kept me from sweating to much definitely didn't slow me down except for tuts lane.
  6. Is this real time thread more informative then what Blue puts in their Facebook?? Dreamweaver had decent fast spring snow but some bare areas. At the top of switchback now can see Main Street chair spinning maybe one person for every 15 chairs surprised it's even running. Gonna ski another run or two on the east side after swizzle bizzle and then head back to the mean streets of the A...JADIP
  7. Sep That melted out. Switchback was good and almost full width till near the end. Upper razors is starting to get some big push piles and is the most popular run today amoung the 135 people who are here. Talked to an employee on the lift who said they were down 40% this season exactly what I thought. Razorback was smooth getting to the head wall is thin. Nightmare pretty smooth corn hasn't seen much traffic good enough that I'll repeat it at least once
  8. Lazy mile, tuts lane, Barneys bumps and switchback. I'm bout to ski switchback then will try razorback.
  9. On my fourth razors run wow such hero snow but gonna set up hardcore tonight but should corn up tomorrow
  10. No wall to wall smooth for GSS turns. Rode the lift with people from roundtop enjoying the free tickets with season pass.
  11. I'm high atop a windy blue mountain just skied razors and it was smooth and soft..coverage is pretty good. Here are some lot shots.
  12. I don't follow. Stay tuned for a real time report soon.
  13. Just an FYI...blue is honoring season passes from areas that have already closed down this weekend. It was mentioned in comments on their Facebook page. Just like their buddy passes they stay pretty silent about this.
  14. I mean they were wrong about the blizzard three days out so I'm sure they will be wrong about this storm.
  15. Their compressor failed.
  16. If camelback is open on Easter I'll be there
  17. The euro is showing 1-2 feet for our area. Very possible especially because most of the snow will fall during the night time hours.
  18. If you like ski touring and whirlybirds check out this video!!!! http://www.tetongravity.com/video/gear-tech/backcountry-snowblades-latest-euro-invention-to-ruin-skiing
