Also @saltyant hasn’t checked PASR since Thursday. I guess he forgot to file a butthurt report. -

On FB they said only 8 more days so I went to their website and they’re selling tickets for next Saturday and Sunday. -

Camelback will be open April 1 and 2. -
On the way to Stowe I hiked up part of MRG and skied down.

I usually avoid that line because it’s tighter and there’s a better chance my pol will get caught up in the netting.

The only thing with the stats is the majority of days I don’t get scanned in my first lift ride cause the gates open automatically for the first person. Day one my pass didn’t work the whole session but they kept opening the gate for me.

FWIW I was told that Saturday was Blues 100th day they were open.

Hey All, I’m back from another fun morning at Blue mountain the true mountain. I arrived at the lower lot at 830am and it was 30 degrees under mostly sunny sky’s but close to 40 on the upper mountain, mad inversion yo. In the house was Harold, Kumar, Atomic Jeff, Jimmy, Drew, Rodney, Oz, Tele Matt and many others. Only the quad was running, I started out on challenge which was super nice cord, a few ridges but solid 8 out of 10. Atomic Jeff said razors was awesome and it was and that was 9 out of 10 and lapped that a few times. Coming soon was very nice fast and smooth and even lower paradise was good. Main Street was as good as razors a bit more variable. After atomic Jeff I kept skiing with Drew and hit razors, challenge and coming soon again and ended with x-ing for the fresh cord. The last two turns of X-ing by the bumps was starting to corn up. All in all a fun session and much better snow than expected JADIP

Inversion today…37 at the upper entrance, 30 in the valley and top of the quad probably feels like Santo Domingo.

It just seems obvious due to when they stop selling tickets on their site and the weather forecast. But maybe a bonus weekend you never know.
-
Have fun and safe travels..I’ll track your flight if I can stay up late enough. Edit: Holy Cannoli..Brighton has received a couple feet of new snow in the last week and more on the way..
-
I’ll be up tomorrow for opening..maybe Wednesday as well. Thursday I have a morning appointment and looks like maybe rain. Way to get after it. I had a little FOMO not skiing today.

Looking like Blue will remain open daily through the 26th and might open the following weekend. They did a good job covering up alot of the brown and only lost nightmare to dreamweaver…that run is challenging to keep covered it has a stream that runs under it. They plan on blowing tonight and it’s dry and cold..they might blow Monday night as well then it gets warm..high of 68 Thursday for Allentown..thursdays have been the warmest day this season it seems.

The bacon wrapped Jalapeños also top tier elite…

Wow you brought the whole squad. I saw the video mixilplix post and you’ll better on the homemade skis than 2/3 of the people at blue.

Hey All, I’m back from another fun day at Blue mountain the true mountain. I arrived at the lower lot at 7:15am and it was 23 degrees out under mostly cloudy sky’s with strong winds. In the house was everybody but Salty, PARidge, Nancy and Schifdawg. From 7:30-9am I enjoy a couple mimosas and a Bloody Mary along with multiple helpings of JFDans famous meaty cheesy egg casserole. On the Slopes at 9am and started on Main Street which was ok..pretty consistent snow..skied that a few times then over to coming soon which was better than yesterday. Guns were blowing on a few random places and they definitely blew snow in Barney’s bumps as well. I did Main Street some more and a run on challenge which was stiff but decent and also did Barney’s bumps with Matt edge which was slick or silky depending on where you turned. Back in the lot around 1030ish and had a Yum Yum donut thanks to antman..then some sausage, roast beef, salt block steak, brisket and melted cheese on Toast(not the PASR) that would be weird. Also had a boo bear maple bacon donut on the drive home. While the weather outside was frightful, the food and fun was delightful. JADIP

Hey all, I’m back from another session at Blue mountain the true mountain. I arrived at the lower lot at 715am and it was in the upper 30s under mostly cloudy sky’s with moderate winds. In the house were JFDan, Ridge, BenM, Mute, Ryan, Boo Bear, Justo, Rose, The real Kevin Thomas, -Dan, T Maki, Enjorales, Pops, BFC, Mixilplix and many others. First civilian OG six pack and first run was on challenge which was firm. Main Street was super nice cord on the upper and upper upper sections and still decent lower down. Coming soon was solid and uneven, lazy mile was ok and raceway was decent with a big bare area. Midway and chute also skied decently. The best thing about today was the lack of crowded, despite low attendance, all three high speed lifts were running. I skied about 12-13 runs then hungout in the parking lot and had some beer and chips and bologna and cheese from Jimmy..all in all a fun morning and I picked up champagne for tomorrow on the drive home JADIP
