  1. I like this chick. She just turned 18 in January. Perfect.
  2. You don't have to do anything. Stick your skis in a closet. Why would you touch up edges if you only skied twice. I skied 36 days so far this season and only had edges done once.
  3. Yup latest I've seen frost is May 25. Some lady at Targer was saying it was hailing. I hate when people call sleet hail. Has me shake shake shaking my herman.
  4. What town in Arizona does your son live in?? I've been to New Mexico before but only because a flight to Durango was diverted to Farmingham which is an hour south of Durango by shuttle. Someday I'll go to Arizona. I heard Tempe is pretty fun. I also wanna see the horse with no name. Actually in Montana areas like 30 miles west of Bozeman are full on dessert there's tumbleweed and it rains like ten inches a year max. Lots of dried out creeks.
  5. When do you go out there?? Seems like the Arizona snow bowl is still open with about half their terrain. What a wild season skiing in Arizona over two weeks later than our legendary mountain shut down. Shit is wilder than the time I saw a deadhead sticker on a Cadillac. Nothing surprises me anymore.
  6. I don't think I'll ever have one. Just my stubbornness. I don't like wind blowing around or the noise of it and don't wanna be bothered by it. Just that last comment probably put me high on the aspergers test lol
  7. I don't have a sunroof...I usually only keep the windows down when I'm blasting crunk hits in local parking lots and driving by college campuses. It's like I'm a DJ
  8. Here's a few pictures from last April in Colorado. There was like half as much snow as there is now.
  9. I'm getting excited. Leaving in about 36 hours. Looking like a snowfall of somewhere in the 3-8" range is expected in the Colorado high country Monday night through Tuesday night... Reading reviews of the la Quinta inn where I'm staying is funny. Complaints like needed a new key card and the free breakfast not worth the money...I ain't trippin there's an einsteins bagel a half mile away near the loaf and jug and smashburger and noodle place...I don't know if they have a bar named shennanagins but if there is I'll be there.
  10. Wow mama you are catching up on here today lol. I guess not everybody is like me checking PASR a couple times an hour.
  11. The last few years we've had some chilly April days. i had to shut my windows today which have been open for the better part of a month and turned off the AC in my car.
  12. I wish it snowed 2" everyday
  13. What are you talking about???
  14. Gonna be 21 degrees for the low in a few days. Bring in your tropical plants.
  15. Hey All, I'm heading to Colorado on Tuesday for my third April trip out there in a row. Flying direct on a noob flight Newark to Denver on Southwest Airlines for around $300. Renting a midsize SUV from Alamo for $370. Last year I stayed at the Silver Inn in Silverthorne for $80 a night. I called them today and they said the best they could do was $95 a night which is about $100 more than last year. After an online search I found Hot Wire and found 3 star places for $67 a night. The catch is that they choose the hotel and you don't know which one you get until after you pay for room and room. I got the La Quinta Inn which is located about a mile from where I stayed last year and near everything and even with Hot wires fees saving like $150 over the silver inn. As for skiing Barb sent me some buddy passes for copper which brings tickets down to $79 per day. Also wanna hit up ABasin for two days and Loveland at least a day. Colorado resorts were blessed with 5-6 feet of snow during March and coverage is excellent with 70-80" base depths and 100% of terrain open. Looks like a few inches of snow possible Tuesday and temperatures in the mad goldilocks range. Below freezing at night and sunny and 40s and 50s most days. Looking forward to skiing some more..ski season here in PA ended so fast. Also will be nice to get away from work. Shits been really hectic lately seems like people keep dying. Stay tuned to this thread for real time reports, photos and any fuckery I encounter. Edit should read 4/5-4/12...can a mod edit title..thanks.
  16. I came...twice.
  17. Doop...Does AngryHugo still ski?
  18. They reopened two years ago for a weekend.
  19. Looking at the webcams Blue is wiped out now...no chance of reopening. See y'all next season.
  20. Woo you got me there although the instructors at bear creek are the best in Berks county Smart your wedge Christie will do you well in the steeps at Taos...I'm thinking about taking some terrain park clinics as I can never negotiate the rails and step up jumps in the hobacks at Jackson hole. Usually just take off my skis and walk down those sections.
  21. I'm sure some PASRs can relate to this. Sharting in the back country. http://www.tetongravity.com/story/culture/snowboarder-sharts-himself-in-backcountry-hits-rock-bottom
