  1. I still haven't been to that bar. Well technically I ordered a jack and Coke there to bring outside during pond skimming in 2006.
  2. I just woke up. Felt nice waking up with no alarm. I ain't tripping had great skiing Thursday night and yesterday and will be back tomorrow after work. Just gonna SUJOPO all day!!!
  3. Thanks Phillycore you taking Karen to the regal beagle or shennanagins.
  4. I'm neutral about taxidermy. Doesn't freak me out and also doesn't turn me on. There was a funny Conan O'Brien clip with Adam Sandler. Sandler vacationed last Easter in Jackson hole with his family and had supper at the gun barrel steak and game saloon and his kids were freaked out by all the stuffed animals.
  5. I'm guessing crowds weren't bad at bear creek. Really sucks for ski areas this year. No xmas week due to warmth..a rainy Sunday..blizzard on a weekend keeping people from the hill and now less crowds due to cold. I would not be surprised if local resorts end down 30-40% this season.
  6. Nice report...I was up to 11k of vert this morning at blue by 930 Also nice reading a report from a new skier.
  7. Nice report. I did a Okemo/Stratton weekend with my dad in 10th grade. I have pictures of my pissed off Dad after a full yard sale on double diamond which is a pseudo glade run/bump run. Glad you got to ski some untracked powder!!!!
  8. Yeah at least three people dead. My mom made a big deal about when someone died at Blue..I told her driving to the ski area is way more dangerous than the actual skiing.
  9. This is scary stuff..he's really not in that deep but could be a lot worse. http://www.ktvb.com/news/local/watch-boise-dad-saves-son-after-fall-into-tree-well/41483057
  10. Nice report. The top to bottom lifts at Stowe are great. A shame runs like Goat, Starr, ChinClip and Goat are likely closed. Big spruce has a few fun runs from the top. The old big spruce double used to go higher and you were allowed to use Stowe ticket for technically one run at smugglers notch. Was quite the experience I've done toll house lift to triple to double to quad to gondola over to spruce up little spruce up big spruce over to smugglers notch down sterling up sterling up Madonna down to morse mountain up morse and back. Quite the experience.
  11. How is more energy used?? The six pack runs all day except for when it breaks down.
  12. -3 at mount pocono now...-13 at Stowe and a balmy 9 in Allentown and blustery brrrrrr If stick stick my salami in her ham wallet!!!
  13. TP4 I'm ready to whip out my demerit pad!!!
  14. I do that when Amanda seyfried comes to Allentown. I know which house is her parents house. She knows who I am though cause my sister used to babysit her. Her last visit to stooges over the holidays I missed her by like 15 minutes...sad day for me. She's still my favorite Mean Girl.
  15. Congrats. I don't do raffles since I quit gambling. Was this in the upper lodge?? Haven't been in there since opening day when I had lunch at the slopeside with VTMark.
  16. Yeah but you never get there till 10am. Not possible if there's a full corral and definitely not if you aren't VIP. TP4 you behave yourself.
  17. No lift lines today at blue would have taken me five hours at montage to ski what I skied in two hours at blue. Wow I guess it's not cold enough to blow snow on those trails.
  18. That's pretty good time time..hope you're staying warm today. I bet the line for the gondola is the longest. Nosedive is a pretty sweet run. There used to be 7 turns at the top and now only three. Nosedive is a gateway to a lot of good tree skiing.
  19. Hey all, I'm back from a nice Saturday AM session at Blue mountain the true mountain. I arrived at the lower lot at 730am with temperatures in the low teens and blustery winds. Johnny law was already in the house and atomic Jeff, toast, JFBBDan, MBike Mike and GSSucks were all in the house. First civilian six pack and a sweet carpet on razors with a few skiffs of new pow pow..then a bonus second run on Razors..felt like stealing. Then hit up Nightmare dreamweaver which had such nice velvet either from the sky or snowmaking cannons I felt like I was floating wow just wow. Switchback was nice conditions and not many people and challenge was also pretty good although a bit of a wind tunnel. Crowds were light and no lifelines from 8am-10:10am. Skied a 7 run per hour pace which is mad steezy for a Saturday of presidents weekend. I'm so thankful I don't make my living in the ski resort business. They lose business when it's warm and cold and from a blizzard and then Tuesday gonna be a monsoon. Hung out in the parking lot for an hour and a half had a couple beers..on way home had to piss real bad ended up stopping in at my work to pee then stole bottled water and toilet paper and brought in the mail...JADIP
  20. Yeah something about a state of emergency. That's for Allentown. Colder in blues microclimate. I won't be surprised if it's closer to -10 and blustery.
  21. I wonder if there's enough coverage on the Bruce trail??? He can't Apres Ski that hard he's staying 30 miles away.
  22. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=NIGMUAMevH0
  23. Where he's staying is $54 a night on Orbitz...wow just wow
