  1. OMG OMG OMG best Hobacks ever!!!!! Deep deep deep snow right to the base...untracked pow on last run...untracked pow on first run..deepest 17" I've ever skied..face shots every turn...took one fall was bit by a snowsnake.
  2. First civilian tram has loaded. We should be on the next one.
  3. In line for the Tram we will prob end up on second tram..bombs going off..rendezvous bowl should still have some untracked but our sights are set on the legendary Hobacks..then I figure gondola and tram lines will be insane so will work out way around from teewinot to apres vous to Teton lift to Casper to thunder to sublette. We've been in line for 15 minutes and already a full tram of people behind us.
  4. Yeah I broke my pinkie toe like 2 weeks ago. On 712am town bus. Gonna get in tram line hopefully they have a semi on time opening and we get first tram. Totally full bus not even light out yet.
  5. 15" overnight gonna be a shitshow. Yeah toasts timing wasn't great but he made the best of it.
  6. I should probably save this for when I post the good the bad and the ugly in a few days but for the last few days when I walked in my boots I felt something under my one foot but never fully investigated it and it didn't bug me when I was skiing..mainly when I took my skis off to go into a lodge or restaurant. Well turns out I had a penny in my boot. Shits wild. Now with the penny removed I'll be able to get sponsored by Teton gravity research or Patagucci or some other elite mountain sports lyfestyle company looking for new talent who can ski black diamond terrain. A shame I bought new gloves earlier because I will surely get Swany or DaKine as one of my sponsor. Shits big time. They are calling for over a foot of new snow in the mountains. Based on the way it's snowing in town and the radar I believe that's conservative. Me and atomic Jeff are taking an uber early bus to the mountain tomorrow. We'll be there more than an hour before the mountains usual opening and I fully expect a delayed opening due to Avalanche control work. I thought I just heard an avalanche bomb go off but it was actually fireworks as it's the ceremonial start of the Purina dog sled race to Utah which seems to take place every year while I'm in Jackson hole. A shame the Baha Men couldn't make it here to perform their big hit from 16 years ago,"Who Let the Dogs Out".
  7. #TRUTH Just went with Toast to the loaf and jug and got cheeze itz and sugar free red bull...good snack N
  8. Nope not for the last week. People in the gondoobie in front of me blazed today. All good tolerance break. I stopped bringing weed on the plane after the Johnny style year when I lost my weed in the economy parking bus in philly.
  9. OMG the radar is so fucking juicy...check out Idaho...who da Hoe..I'm a hoe to that fresh Poe...mad Edgar Allan..what what..or que que que for all you Spanish speaking snow sports enthusiasts.
  10. Didn't enjoy the skiing today after the first two runs..dust on crust in the woods low visibility and crowded and piles on the runs. Did 7 runs went back to town...went to Bubbas for lunch...bought new gloves..bought Jack Daniels and spicy party mix. 9 days in a row is a marathon after six solid days..doing my two hours today was a nice little rest and I'll be fresh as fuck for a foot or two of fresh tomorrow. All this time my pinkie toe has also been broken which hasn't helped things but oh well. Having fun. Seems like I've been here longer than a week.
  11. The landing looks like crud.
  12. Sweet picture.
  13. End of March is normal for here. Whatever that gives us two more months of skiing to enjoy. Then I'll go to Colorado in April and after that can sleep late again on weekends and make sure to turn phone off cause atomic Jeff and Nazareth Jay text absurdly early.
  14. This is getting really good. Keep the reports coming VTMark
  15. Easter is March 27 so I think they close March 26.
  16. I need popcorn for this report.
  17. 2" new should snow a little throughout the day. Tomorrow is gonna be a huge pow pow pow day.
  18. Yesterday they took my 4 dirty towels and replaced them with one towel. That's a Jackson Hole problem!!!
  19. I'm definitely middle aged lol doesn't stop me from creeping on young girls
  20. The only running I did was to the toilet
  21. 1/28/16 Day 6 of 9 Hey all, I'm done with another fun day at Jackson hole mountain resort. We managed the first civilian gondola today and were with the pilot guy we met last year and his younger friend who likes Mac and cheese and Grey poupon Dijon mustard. First run on amphitheater was so nice and a carpet that we skied it two more times. We then went over to Casper lift for a few groomers then up Teton lift for Teton run which is the beginning of the race course down to apres vous and the bottom of apres vous was cold...about 10 degrees and in frozen fog with titty sparkles falling. Only did one run over there and then made our way back across the mountain to Casper and then thunder lift. We skied down Laramie bowl from the thunder lift and atomic Jeff got some video of me and tickle me toast. We then went up sublette and skied central chute which is oddly shaped bumps and some gnar and more pictures were taken. Then back to sublette and we went to Laramie bowl which was starting to get a bit soft near the top in the baking sun. Then up thunder for yet another amphitheater run which was still pretty decent but a good amount Of people. Up thunder again down grand which wasn't bad then we hit up the Hobacks. Fourth time for me skiing the hobacks this trip and I made it about 2/3 down before I had some pain above my ankles. No pow at all left some chalk some crust lots of bumps. Managed to bunny hop over some rocks near the entrance. For a fat guy I'm pretty light on my feel yes I'm an agile mofo. Then Union pass lift and a run to the mangy moose. Toast skied one final tram lap while we ordered food and beer. Was a nice day skied 15 runs and nearly 30,000 vert and not even counting the Union pass lift as a run even though it technically is. I'm tired. When the bus gets back prob gonna take a nap. Then dinner tonight either at Bon Appe Thai or Bubbas BBQ. Tomorrow it's gonna be snowing. I'll add some pictures later
