No bare spots at blue. Oh there were a couple last night but yeah this little cold snap is a gift.

I like the goobers who wanna raise the bar when we're like three lift towers from the top. They're like are we gonna put this up. My reaction is typically like "ok" or "if you want". Gosh sometimes I'm not ready to get off the lift or I wanna wait till the last second.

Hey all, It's almost the last weekend in February. Who's gonna be at Blue mountain? Fresh man made snow for tomorrow morning and springtime weather for Sunday and two bluebird days...wow just wow. Should be a real nice one and mid winter crowds should be a thing of the past.

After being at blue I think there's still a good chance they make late March still a decent base. Jet lag from Tahoe. Hardly. From Europe yes.

I skied through this woo. By Saturday morning should be back to mid winter conditions. Snow will be fast tomorrow morning but I'm sure light crowds. Have fun and post a report empanadas.

Hey all, I'm back from a fun session at Blue mountain the true mountain. I arrived at the lower lot at 650pm after a stop at sheetz for gas, a wrap, party mix and sugar free red bull. Atomic Jeff arrived a few minutes later and we were on the snow around 7pm. Lots of buses in the house and a slight lift line initially on the 6 pack as the quad was not running. First lift ride we lucked out and got to ride with Matt Edge, the Dude and their buddy. First run was nightmare to dreamweaver. The bumps were all mowed down on nightmare and the snow was semi refrozen crud. Not that great..next was lazy mile to the falls which was a bit better. Matt edge warned me about standing water right before the falls in the dark spot on the left and I went right through it...was no big whoop as I'm an agile mofo on fat skis but I'm sure for some it was mad Homer Simpson...doh Next up was paradise which was much softer almost hero snow..and near the bottom there were two groomers going up it so next run on paradise we had fresh groomed which was MSY mad steezy yo. Reminded me of the Ray Tuthill days. Another run on paradise and then we saw the dude and Matt edge again and followed them down challenge for some spine grinding wahahahahaoey. After that more paradise and Matt edge wiped out. I would have stopped to help him but didn't wanna go from 35 mph to 0 on slush so kept on going but he was alright. Did a few more paradise laps and then me and atomic Jeff drank a 16 ounce 9% double IPA from Jeffs beer club. Was a little like heady topper. In the lot we saw a shady teenage couple driving around the entire lot including the way back of the lot and also Barb Green was peacing out in her Subaru. Left blue around 9:20pm and as I crossed the Triechlers bridge I had to poop really bad. I thought about stopping at sheetz but pressed on and ended up stopping to poo at my work since it's like 7 minutes closer than my apartment and I'm now finishing up this report on the toilet. It was hot and cold cause it was snowing at the top and chilly and no precipitation at the base and warm and some runs were only four out of ten while others were approaching a 6 out of ten. Overall was definitely better than expected and all but razors edge was open...lets hope they blow a little more snow tomorrow night before it warms up this weekend. Only shot I took from the lot. Atomic Jeff took a picture of the pond skimming before the falls.

Looking at long range March 13th at best. I'll know a little more after I return from my evening session later on. I was planning on going to Colorado April 5th I might have to move that up a little based on when blue closes.

I'll investigate this evening when I'm there. I only got to ski razors edge an entire session once this season. The other times were a run or two on it at 8am before it was closed for the race kids.

When I was 15 I got way more boners.
