Hey all, I’m back from a fun session at Blue mountain. I arrived at the lower lot at dark o clock and it was around 4 degrees out. In the house were Johnny Law, PARidge, BenM JFDan, Dirtwolf, Atomic Jeff, NMSki, Mute, Boo Bear, Indiggio, Salty and many others. Second civilian old six pack and Nightmare dreamweaver first which was ok snow but slick in the last corner. Main Street had very nice snow and I skied that a few times. Widowmaker was ok but had gates on it and Midway had nice fresh man made chalk. I was surprised that the guns were off, I heard it might have to do with electric company stuff. Coming soon was also nice chalky manmade and lazy was ok, corner was a little slick and after the falls was uneven. The 4 degrees today felt colder than -29 at Jackson hole and my toes were frozen. I didn’t feel like hanging around and drinking beer and now I’m at work getting stoned and logging in yesterdays mail. I could use some hot cocoa. JADIP Also did anybody bring a gummy stone for BenM

That seems high for your car. Over 10 gallons of gas? Are you counting your Wawa coffee as part of the expense.

Impressive snowmaking job on tubing. Looks like they could have at least 30 lanes open this weekend.

BenM is the only person I know who has been pissed at about Blue blowing snow on tubing. If they’re blowing snow on tubing that means they’re also blowing snow on the skiing runs and tubing is a cash cow and it’s revenue provides resources for resort wide improvements. You’re my boy Blue. I just received a fax from BethlehemFordGuys friend Jimmy..he said he heard from a friend that they were blowing snow on Challenge.

That really is…usually have to brace yourself or commit going into lower main and upper is usually like that song from Look Who’s talking..walking on sunshine.

I definitely didn’t need sunscreen in Jackson hole.

People who just randomly talk to strangers on ski town buses are weird..just STFU and let people enjoy their zen.

Good: Breakfasts…all of them..bagel place breakfast sangs..thick cut bacon..average of three slices even two is good with thick bacon and a fried egg and cheddar cheese on an everything bagel. A few days I didn’t want the grease and got cheddar cheese and tomato on a poppy seed bagel to change it up. Even had a banana from the free breakfast one day a day later cause it was not quite ready. Radical. Free breakfast hectic and legit..I like that they have salsa and can switch it up and have some apple juice or cafe au lait Also they have bacon it’s thin but can take as much as you want Also nutri grain bars you can take for later. Not my fave but you can’t always have a huckleberry jelly sandwich or you actually can

Tubing could outlast skiing this season..if that’s the case I’m taking tubing lessons..I haven’t tubed in like 25 years.

They’ll probably wait till Saturday and then the snow they blow on new runs will melt next week.

With the forecast now through Saturday, conditions should be good.
