If you wanna try out new gear try it out whenever. I figured you'd wanna try new board opening day. With today and tomorrow and Saturdays weather I don't know how BB is gonna make it such warm overnight temperatures. They will have to do some creative grooming.

It goes back and forth. It depends on alot of factors mostly attendance, weather and Easter plays into it. If Easter is early its bad. A nice mid march snow storm helps. I've never seen them close mid march if things were good. Sometimes they even blow then. If this turns out to be warm the entire winter mid march will be likely though if that. Right now watching the snow melt on the webcam. I guess it's my sadistic side.

Give Ski2Live a break he hasn't skied outside of PA and NY in a couple years and enjoyed Killington!!! Especially the lower liftline of the Main Street chair. Last year we were hitting honeybee bowl and the t bar line alot.

If its any consolation it's currently raining in Jackson hole almost to the summit but they received 7" of snow yesterday and 20" more expected tomorrow through the weekend.

You gonna be able to use em all. There's barely 11 work days left this year. I've only used two days since April but this winter will be off alot I'm not planning on working many full weeks.

Blue is not gonna be refunding any passes even if they don't open u til February.

I'm just saying for years and years I would ski up north on WROD before blue would open and I got tired of the drive and the crowds so I'd rather just wait for blue to open and take a third trip out west later this season to makeup for the dismal start. Blue isnt gonna just open with the valley triple...and if they don't open XMAS week no pass refunds. They have no guarentee on their season pass it is the risk you take buying a pass. Once Blue opens I can ski there everyday...there is not a day during the ski season I can't ski...so these couple weeks with no skiing isn't bothering me...

I'm cool with the normal January thaw...as long as we at least get a few days of skiing in first. Usually we have 6-7 thaws during the season doesn't faze me.
