  1. 200 mile drive for one run...no thanks.
  2. In 2012 BC opened December 30th but that was also a terrible start for Blue. Vista only in early December and then shutdown for three weeks and vista only when they reopened December 26th. I'd rather spend the time and cash to travel in mid winter and in april when lots of terrain is open than drive 3+ hours for one trail at Belleayre. I've been there done that with travelling far for a white ribbon of death. I'm not tripping. I'm planning on 18-20 days total out west this season. I can wait a few more weeks for Blue to open.
  3. That's about a normal amount for BC...
  4. The only places I've heard of that are elk and Bear Creek.
  5. Weren't you talking about going to Taos.
  6. I bet you're still eating turkey.
  7. Do you non weather people realize that once forecasts get past about 10 days they just go with past years averages at least on accuweather. This was discussed at length before. You'll notice that in the coming days the colder temperatures will be pushed back farther and farther into the future because looking at maps and models there's no cold air in the forecast in December. Here's the outlook for the second half of the month.
  8. I like your optimism...I don't know how you got the 8 hour figure. I hope they get Floyd's open for Robert2
  9. That's what the forecast has been for weeks.
  10. I thought you were getting back into it this season???
  11. I think I'm gonna go XMAS carolling...it's Christmas time in Hollis queens mamas cooking chicken and collared greens...
  12. If blue opens with just valley school west I'll come up and hang in lot and leave my ski gear at home. The shit is becoming comical...guns are already shut off five overnights with some snowmaking just a few patches on home stretch. Lower Main Street looks good though. Maybe they can build a stunt ditch on there.
  13. Well at least Jim has had plenty of time to get the lifts inspected!!!
  14. Morning is better for smoother conditions and empty early runs. Alot of the weekday people don't have jobs. I'm gonna be up as much as I can weekdays this season.
  15. Wow RideDE you already have 9 days in. What do you do with yourself at sugarbush when you're not riding? Do you go into Burlington at all??
  16. I don't think any PASRs would travel to Vermont for beginner terrain.
  17. I feel like blue isnt busy on weekday mornings but weekday afternoons can be busy. It's tough for me not to be there for the fresh cord
  18. You should go this year....I wanna be made of money that's the goal...just gotta keep selling cars for you and tombstones for me.
  19. The runs at camelback are short. TP4 how many days did you ride at camelback last season??
  20. Yeah if Mother Nature cooperates that is TBD!!! You fucking love camelback.
  21. Glad you are having fun...if not for my job here id prob be back put west.
  22. Not likely with the Inversions they haven't been able to blow on vista the last four mornings while able to blow on the lower mountain. Places in the Pacific Northwest had a year without a season a few years ago. Perfectly possible here.
  23. Yeah if it's a complete washout I would imagine 2015-16 season passes are gonna be good for next season. I think blue will try to at least open a run or two to ensure this doesn't happen.
  24. If there's absolutely no season I think they would give us vouchers for a 2016-17 season pass...if its just a partial season which is likely than we are SOL although there will likely be a season passholder party on a Sunday at 430pm in the upper lodge..stop in for a hot dog sang and slice of bday cake.
  25. I don't care about Jack Frost/big boulder people cause they obviously have a few screws loose picking the inferior mountain.
