  1. I'm gonna save that video for later before I JO
  2. Blue is not gonna be refunding any passes even if they don't open u til February.
  3. I'm just saying for years and years I would ski up north on WROD before blue would open and I got tired of the drive and the crowds so I'd rather just wait for blue to open and take a third trip out west later this season to makeup for the dismal start. Blue isnt gonna just open with the valley triple...and if they don't open XMAS week no pass refunds. They have no guarentee on their season pass it is the risk you take buying a pass. Once Blue opens I can ski there everyday...there is not a day during the ski season I can't ski...so these couple weeks with no skiing isn't bothering me...
  4. I'm cool with the normal January thaw...as long as we at least get a few days of skiing in first. Usually we have 6-7 thaws during the season doesn't faze me.
  5. Good for hunter!!!! This is the blue thread though.
  6. 200 mile drive for one run...no thanks.
  7. In 2012 BC opened December 30th but that was also a terrible start for Blue. Vista only in early December and then shutdown for three weeks and vista only when they reopened December 26th. I'd rather spend the time and cash to travel in mid winter and in april when lots of terrain is open than drive 3+ hours for one trail at Belleayre. I've been there done that with travelling far for a white ribbon of death. I'm not tripping. I'm planning on 18-20 days total out west this season. I can wait a few more weeks for Blue to open.
  8. That's about a normal amount for BC...
  9. The only places I've heard of that are elk and Bear Creek.
  10. Weren't you talking about going to Taos.
  11. I bet you're still eating turkey.
  12. Do you non weather people realize that once forecasts get past about 10 days they just go with past years averages at least on accuweather. This was discussed at length before. You'll notice that in the coming days the colder temperatures will be pushed back farther and farther into the future because looking at maps and models there's no cold air in the forecast in December. Here's the outlook for the second half of the month.
  13. I like your optimism...I don't know how you got the 8 hour figure. I hope they get Floyd's open for Robert2
  14. That's what the forecast has been for weeks.
  15. I thought you were getting back into it this season???
  16. I think I'm gonna go XMAS carolling...it's Christmas time in Hollis queens mamas cooking chicken and collared greens...
  17. If blue opens with just valley school west I'll come up and hang in lot and leave my ski gear at home. The shit is becoming comical...guns are already shut off five overnights with some snowmaking just a few patches on home stretch. Lower Main Street looks good though. Maybe they can build a stunt ditch on there.
  18. Well at least Jim has had plenty of time to get the lifts inspected!!!
  19. Morning is better for smoother conditions and empty early runs. Alot of the weekday people don't have jobs. I'm gonna be up as much as I can weekdays this season.
  20. Wow RideDE you already have 9 days in. What do you do with yourself at sugarbush when you're not riding? Do you go into Burlington at all??
  21. I don't think any PASRs would travel to Vermont for beginner terrain.
  22. I feel like blue isnt busy on weekday mornings but weekday afternoons can be busy. It's tough for me not to be there for the fresh cord
  23. You should go this year....I wanna be made of money that's the goal...just gotta keep selling cars for you and tombstones for me.
  24. The runs at camelback are short. TP4 how many days did you ride at camelback last season??
