On the 14th high 47 low 31...15th high 42 low 28...16th...high 45 low 23..17th high 41 low 28 That stretch will not get blue open but on the 18th high 36 low 11 is what I'm talking about wahahahahooey Pretty seasonable XMAS week which is good for stoke.

I enjoyed reading the dozens of comments on Blues Facebook page. 1/3 of them were applauding blue on blowing snow saying they can build a base to get through two weeks of warmth. 1/3 said the snowmaking is a waste and 1/3 complained about how much season pass is.

Would be nice if PASR pictures that were uploaded appeared big like these pictures vs the little thumbnails.

There's a cool holiday house a few blocks away I'm gonna take a picture for this thread later on when its dark. I like all the XMAS decorations and XMAS in general...the songs are great. Feliz Navidad is a good one but my favorite is grandma got runover by a reindeer.

The snow is still sticking around the lower mountain...it last 5 hours of above freezing temperatures should last another 12-14 days until they might be able to seriously blow!!! Thanks El Nino

It's only supposed to be 56 now on Saturday.

I prob had weekend appointments like 10 days since ski season and at least double that many after hours appointments over the summer...it's a real 610 struggle You can always move to Allentown...get a 9-5 job and live the dream. Think of a song we can sing together at karaoke. Maybe some Maroon 5

It's an all out snowmaking assault on the lower mountain. 24 degrees at 8am here in the A 29 degrees at mount pocono...mad inversion yo. Only gonna hit low 50s today so at least 20% of the snow they blow should last till tonight and maybe 1% of it will last till next weekend....hats off to the snowmakers.

Not to me...my parents are in Virginia and did nothing for thanksgiving and my aunt who usually hosts thanksgiving as in Australia. I was actually invited to 4 different friends thanksgivings but I just wanted to do my own thing plus I like prime rib better than turkey and that night I went out to Stooges and it was super fun...got so many hugs from girls that I needed to smoke a cig.

Damn that's alot of food...sandwiches for days!!! I didnt have turkey for thanksgiving. I went to Queen City diner for King Cut prime rib. Was only $18.95 with side, salad bar and soup!!!!

We have loyal employees and are super lean...our office manager and delivery guy both do the work of two people. Years ago when we did less business we had more employees. Once you give someone a perk its tough to take away. We'll just have to sell an extra mauseleum this year to make up for it. My mom had a broken leg and my dad has had both his hips replaced. Health insurance is real important. If you don't have to use it, it's not a waste you are just lucky.

Thanks for the info Skifreak...I always like business talk. Since I've been running the memorial company myself for the last year+ I've learned way more than I did when I was in college. Hopefully when Donald Trump becomes President he can end Obamacare...our health insurance premiums just went up 25% which is standard. Luckily we've had a really good year and will be able to pay 100% of our employees premiums and their families which is rare these days. I have free heat where I live so not only am I not saving on heat since its included but its been blasting and I've needed to open up my living room window. Last winter with electric heat I had a few electric bills in the $200 range.

I'd be thrilled with that. Then I won't have to travel anywhere. Plus 8am openings everyday that week.. I'll be in the lot by 930am with the hordes of people. I actually only had 12 days in last year before XMAS. I should be able to make that up doing more after work sessions.

He said he's not good with pics. Were lift lines long?? Wow Okemo has more skiable terrain than Killington. Lift tickets tomorrow at Okemo are only $39 with 5 cans of food. Not bad since they are charging $69 normally. It said a real easy lift card is also required for that deal which costs $5 so really $44 plus five cans of food.

Blue should be able to blow again tonight for a few hours then almost 2 weeks of lows in the 30s and highs in the 40s and 50s.

Look at all the cars in the lot..lots of $40k and $50k cars and above. I'm guessing average family income of average goobers at Blue has to be into the 6 figures.

Their location within an hour and a half of the wealthiest people in the country means their pricing is not an issue.

They should charge full price from the start to keep crowds down.
