  1. How does your son like UVM? Whenever I get an 802-656-xxxx number I know what it is.
  2. Nice is your youngest in 10th grade... No more people die during the winter but sales are way lower because memorial stones generally aren't installed during the winter time because the cemetery's don't install concrete foundations during the winter time. For example we've done more business so far in November than all of January and February combined. This warm fall is really helping out business. Most monument companies shutdown during the winter months and from late December to late February many of our suppliers shutdown.
  3. Welcome to PASR
  4. Wow my 20-30 million figure was wicked low...that's some serious revenue.
  5. No it was on his foot...he was out alot of last season cause of a Crossfit injury.
  6. That has me SMH shaking my Herman!!!
  7. What the fuck...it would be different if blue was a non profit or something like mad river glen for instructors to help paint benches for no pah but that is fucked up. And yeah insurance should cover that but their premiums will go up. With my employees they don't have to pay for anything out of pocket, not insurance, delivery guy gets his work boots and clothes paid for and even when I go to Wendy's and get something for me and the office manager it's on the company credit card. I gotta keep her happy cause she does the work I don't wanna do. Anyway shame on blue for having instructors paint benches for no money and shame on the instructors for doing it.
  8. Root always used to do a countdown to Black Friday so now it's called Root Friday. Unfortunately Root just had surgery and will be out of commission for awhile.
  9. Looking like Big Boulder might be able to open with a bonkyard on root Friday.
  10. I think Jackson hole as a home base and where I'd get a season pass and then travel to some other areas. There are motels in Jackson that rent rooms for under $300 a week mid winter.
  11. That million is a drop in the bucket for Blue. They probably gross 20-30 million a year. Can just raise the price a couple percent to make up for it.
  12. Was Danny around back in your liftee and park Crüe days??
  13. Wahahahahooey
  14. I could prob swing it next season but more realistically in like 3-5 years and I'd like to spend every season out there and the rest of the year in Allentown.
  15. For sure I figure 4 months in the Rockies will run me about $15k plus gotta pay my bills back here. I can delegate most of my work out to the office manager during our slow winter months. I will save some Johnny Cash not having to buy a blue mountain pass.
  16. Indiggio maybe they'll hire someone else to seed the bumps. A shame flying Johnny burned his bridges with blue.
  17. That's reason for me to save more Johnny Cash so I can spend the ski season in the Rockies.
  18. I sort of believe that dry snow accumulates much faster due to high precip to snow ratios. An inch of precip makes about 8-10 inches of wet snow but 20-25 inches of dry snow.
  19. I hope mid winter is extremely cold and snowy.
  20. ABasin could have alot of terrain open by thanksgiving. The Pali terrain is apparently filling in well. Flying to Colorado>driving to Killington. If blue still isn't open in a month I may have to do the same thing. I can hold out a few more weeks.
  21. Quarter a week seems about right and I don't have a ski waxing iron to lose. What kind of bad feeling??
  22. Found your post Dude...here it is!!!
  23. I believe you mentioned the service and burger being subpar and overpriced in the Slopeside grill last year you mentioned that burger was too thin to cook to order. I also remember you discussing cafeteria burger from upper lodge as being really bad but that was from the previous season. Anyway I've smoked about ten pounds of pot in my lyfe and my memory is fantastic.
  24. Isn't it supposed to rain at Smuggs on Wednesday and Thursday??? Moe Ghoul when are you heading to Vermont??
  25. Wow last year when you put down blues burgers you were talking about the cafeteria??? I remember you talked about Slopeside and based on the pricing and what you had I believe it was Slopeside. I'll find your post. You said they weren't thick enough to be cooked to order.
