  1. My approximate figure is $6,000 for Blue mountain season pass, new ski boots, Jackson Hole trip and Colorado trip. I actually spent more last year because I had the same season pass and ski trips but last year bought my Shiros, Jeff's old mantras, poles, ski bag and my jacket so was closer to $7,000. A freaking bargain based on the amount of enjoyment I get out of skiing. No gas cost since my company pays for my gas but for the 41 visits to blue prob about $200 in gas. I prob spent about that much in beer as well. I did make it through the entire ski season without buying one item of food from Blue mountain. You wanna talk amortization??? I've had two pairs of ski pants for 10 seasons total...first one was like $100 and second pair which are the same but were $70 so that's $170 on ski pants in ten seasons so $17 per season or pennies per day. I think I might actually get new ski pants next season although I've said that the last three.
  2. Nah you two are buddies...if that was the case Atomic Jeff would owe me money for the snacks I bought in Jackson Hole that he helped me eat. Why wouldn't you wanna know?? You love snowboarding so spending money on it is a good thing.
  3. The ski season is over for most how much did you spend this season on skiing/riding? I consider costs to be gear, travel, lodging, gas and travel.
  4. Wow just wow Dude...oh and in tricky situations never take your skis off in sketchy terrain. They don't teach that till level 4 And I always ski the trees alone.
  5. That was a neat video
  6. What is it
  7. Ridge you made 8am opening once so why does it matter to you.
  8. Back in Newark just in time for some rush hour traffic.
  9. Wow that stinks. I wonder if he was a level 3!!!
  10. It's just weed its essentially the same quality I smoke in PA although the edibles are amazeballs. Just like last year I spent $250 in a week on marijuana, edibles and a pipe. Luckily the chick I hung out with last night took the pipe off my hands so I didn't have to throw it away. At Denver airport now boarding is in about an hour.
  11. After lunch I went back out and did a couple fast runs off the Lenawee lift..it actually has a foot rest on the safety bar which is semi rare at some Colorado resorts. Aside from a few trips in some woods and gullys I was mostly just doing what I like best...flying...not quite Jackson hole speeds but at least razors edge speed on some very nice winterlike snow similar to the best days at blue on the fresh cord runs..somebody got hurt in Montazuma bowl where the snow was icier..I saw ski patrol giving the victim oxygen from the lift. Last run I flew super fast from the top of Lenawee..felt that great flying feeling us skiers and riders enjoy. Stopped in the woods to review safety. Skied out of woods timidly cause gotta end the season in one piece. Back out onto some green groomer and flew to the base what are they gonna do clip my ticket. Walked about 25 steps to my car and rearranged my luggage and ski bag. Then drove over Loveland pass which I wouldn't wanna do in bad weather. Lots of exposure. Then down to Boulder where I just checked in at the Days Hotel. Location is good I'm semi familiar with the area from when I was here for a wedding 8 years ago. Here are a few pictures. I didn't ski Pali lift today but I did yesterday. I got some good Pali shots from the pass. It's freaking steep no turn on the top 2/3 would I even think of missing and I don't wanna test my self arrest skills which I haven't used since college on Starr at Stowe.
  12. If it was November like 12 PASRs would have been there.
  13. Eating lunch now brisket sang and waffle fries and orange Gatorade. Kind of bittersweet that my season is ending in a couple runs but it was a nice one and about 1/4 of my days were out west. In the future hopefully it will be more than that. Been a Marvalous morning at A Basin. Skied 6 runs so far mostly off the Lenawee lift but also Montazuma bowl. I do my power skate to get there on about 100 yards of slightly uphill cat track and need a solid 40 seconds to catch my breath after that. Other than that I haven't felt the affects of altitude. Off to boulder after skiing...this girl I'm meeting wants to know if I wanna go bowling with her friends..uhhhh no...I just want dinner and drinks.
  14. Justo are you going to Stowe this weekend? After skiing Colorado do you have the desire to ski Killington??
  15. I think I lost weight this trip since I only drink three times. Is that your report??? I was a little dissapointed at the lack of spring conditions. Anyway taking a safety meeting now. I got a good parking space. My current location.
  16. Of course when I leave its gonna dump at A Basin!!!
  17. Booked a room for tonight at the Days hotel in Boulder. Last ski day today at A Basin!!!! Sunny and warm although prob not that warm up high although it seems like the winds have died down alot.
