  1. Look at next weekend though brrrrrr
  2. It’s supposed to snow here in Jackson hole until Sunday.
  3. Oh wow I figured you’d let the rain melt the snow and no that doesn’t count.
  4. Did you get to play in it yesterday?
  5. I was today years old when I knew that Snow king had a backside.
  6. I saw Burke had three for one lift tickets today and lift tickets are $45 each.
  7. @saltyant why did you vote one star on my report??? Not cool. Just hungout with Mute, Ryan, AtomicSkier and NMSki in NMSkis sweet…plenty of towels not enough chairs so I found two chairs in the hallway a floor above..so NMSki didn’t have to sit on the luggage rack. Go to the brewery again at 6…gonna be rowdy…
  8. I think Doug’s drop is named after Doug Lewis who was an Olympian and born in middlebury Vt..definitely not me as I’ve never skied Burke
  9. 1/25/23…Day 1 of 7 Hey All, I’m back from a fun first ski day at Jackson hole. I was up super early which I love cause I can just relax and catch up on the internet. Went to bagel place, got a toothbrush from the front desk cause I forgot mine and at 755am me and atomic Jeff loaded up the Giant Jeep and picked up Nazareth Jay at his hotel. Despite a semi late arrival we were second or third civilian gondola. Temperatures today were in the single digits rising into the teens at the base under cloudy skies with a few flakes initially becoming party sunny. First run down Amphitheater and so good best run of the season so far..2” of Perder on top of groomed…The thunder lift was down so we skied over to the Casper chair and took a run down Casper to black tail to Sundance to the base which was super good. I usually don’t ski that terrain so early in the day so was a real treat. Since Thunder was down we took the Tram to the peak to access Sublette terrain. We had a walk on Tram but it was a full one and very uncomfortable. The most contact I’ve had since my rubdown by security yesterday at Newark airport. Down Rendevous bowl which was ok conditions..semi solid giant bumps with a little fresh..first bumps of skied of the season to Rendevous trail to the Sublette chair and Jay and Atomic did Bivoac. R trail wasn’t skied off yet as it was before 10am. Up Sublette to ten sleep bowl to the cirque to amphitheater to thunder chair which was running. First time ever on the new Thunder high speed quad and you exit the lift sideways which is progressive, I guess because the unloading area is compact. Then cut over to below the expert chutes which was filled in and yielded some fresh to Nez Perce traverse, as I was crusing along moderate speed some goob turned right into my path uphill blind…then a few seconds later his buddy did the same thing and nearly collided with atomic Jeff..that’s a pretty dangerous move on their part and they’re lucky they didn’t get destroyed. Then back into Casper area up Casper and down wide open to the Teton lift then up Teton which was the busiest lift and the day with maybe a 1 minute liftline then down Crags run towards Apres vous which was super good so went back to Teton again and did crags run again then to the base of Apres vous and finished out under the top of the Apres vous lift to St. John’s to buck to the base. Nice lunch at Osteria, I had very good Bolognese and an Arnold Palmer. Today was a fun ski day, wasn’t really a pow day although we skied some pow but it was very pleasant. Right now Mute and Ryan are at snow king and NMSki is probably charming the front desk lady with his sparkling smile. I didn’t take many pictures but I’ll post what I took. Looks like the real snow arrives tomorrow afternoon through Saturday night. Probably about 15-18”+ total.
  10. Nah you’ll get a few hours of snow this afternoon before the changeover. Once the precip moves in, the dew point will rise and the temperature will fall. It’s amazing I’m catching up on Facebook and everybody is like where the snow. They should check the radar.
  11. Based on the radar nothing significant is gonna happen for another few hours.
  12. The flight was smooth we landed around 1230 MST and baggage came quick. We have a baller Jeep Grand Wagoneer…dropped Nazareth Jay off at his hotel, went to beer store, checked into the 49er and room wasn’t available yet as it was only like 130. Then picked NSJ at his hotel and went to the brewery for a late lunch. I had Nachos and a Zonker stout..then dropped NSJ back at his hotel and me and Atomic Jeff while we have standard rooms they in the quieter back building with both exterior and interior entrances. I’m so happy everything travel wise was smooth…usually I have a lot of pre trip anxiety and I actually slept decent last night. Here’s some pictures.
  13. This preflight mimosa slaps!!! Captain Morgan is the pilot he seems more legit than the last pilot I had, captain obvious.
  14. Hey All, I’m currently sitting in seat 3F on United flight 2092 heading from Newark to Jackson hole. In seat 3A is atomic Jeff and seat 3B is @NazarethSkier so PASRs are holding down 1/4 of the first class cabin. Wheels up in about 25 minutes. Tomorrow Mute and NMSki join us…gonnna be grate. Breakfast #1 in the United club.
  15. That was radical
  16. Sorry I don’t think corbetts is gonna be open because of the kings and queens contest I guess I’ll have to wait for another time to try this line.
  17. Let’s get a little stoke going I’ll start the new report tomorrow.
  18. Sick JH skier Tim Derchee
  19. My bar friend who I gave my buddy pass to is going to BC Wednesday night for their deal. He was a big bmx rider back in the day and still enjoys flatland tricks and BFFs with the architect who designed the Bethlehem skate park by the casino. I know this isn’t ski footage but it’s freaking rad..this is a video of him from 1989 in Allentown.
  20. Well look at what people paid to see the World Series. My friend was thrilled to luck out into seats up by the liberty bell for about tree fiddy each and went to all three home games. Same girl spent $800 for floor seats at Taylor swift and her friends will prob pay more I guess that’s like heli skiing to Swifties. I joke about leaving money on the table but I’ve never been greedy…people pay for convenience. The Arizona snowbowl pricing was an anomaly but the $130 Blue tickets on MLK weekend suddenly dropped to $98 last weekend and $98 this weekend. I like following it from the sidelines. People like deals…before I was a season pass holder at Blue, they had spring fling tickets where if you purchased a lift ticket mid season you were given a paper coupon good for half off after march 1st. Then you go march 1st and pay half price which was like $14 instead of $28 and they gave you another spring fling coupon. That’s how Blue stayed open until April 10th back then…they didn’t mess around and the old Blue would even blow snow on closing day…and now I kind of hate fresh man made at least when it’s 31 degrees out with 70% humidity when it’s 12 degrees out it doesn’t even stick to goggles. It’s like pixie dust. Woo woo woo
  21. Supply and demand lol.
  22. Apparently the students all want to be in Matt edge class and the teachers find him annoying at least according to edge.
