Hey All, I'm back from a fun session at Blue mountain the true mountain. I woke up at 610am about 3 hours after I fell asleep and sadly it was not snowing yet. Just a few hours after evacuating the dancefloor, I was headed to the best ski area within 15 minutes of Sheetz. I arrived in the lot a little before 8am and hardly anybody was there. JLAW and JFBBDan arrived a few minutes later and off we went for the fresh cord. Razors, Nightmare Dreamweaver, Main Street, Challenge and Switchback were all good nice soft cord but still fast. We managed 7 runs in the first 57 minutes for a nice start. TheDude4Bides was in the house and skied several runs with the PASRs. Around 1015AM me and JFDan had a beer in the lot then back on the snow by 1035AM By this point the snow was pounding hard..low visibility and sticking to everything. Some goober who rode the lift with us asked if the snow would be real snow or wet crap...lol...wet snow is real snow and I found the new snow skied pretty well..if not for all the groomed turning to sugar the first hour or two before it started snowing it would have been even better. A little after 11am atomic Jeff arrived and we took a few cool runs including lower Widowmaker, the entire Widowmaker from the vista chair and powder on the very top of Main Street from vista lift since the Main Street and Burma chairs were not running. Then over to x- ing for some goodness. I skied a little bit of bumps..Barney's bumps are deep and firm..and the bumps on Dreamweaver are tiny and scratchy...with the warmth tomorrow it could get better. I peaced out around 1245PM second longest blue session this season. Longest was MLK day with Matt Edge where we tailgated in both the bottom lot and the top lot...tomorrow looks to be packed powder to start quickly changing to spring snow..people are gonna ruin their skis if they go off trail...could be funny tomorrow seeing the junkshow at Blue. I anticipate moderate crowds this weekend and nice beer drinking weather!!!!

Is it snowing in Philly???? My friend in quakertown says its a whiteout. Gotta get home from sheetz now and check the many pages in the accuweather forums!!!

Posted up at sheetz in Whitehall now. I'll post a report when I get home. The roads are too spicy and rowdy to post while driving. It will be the best when Toast is there...always is!!!!

Add a $15 lunch voucher for $12 more or a bacon Bloody Mary for $8 more. Barb hooked me up with two Copper mountain buddy passes at $69 each...their walk up lift ticket price is an astounding $138...

Hey all, It's almost another weekend is anybody gonna be skiing at Blue mountain??? Looks like up to 8" of new snow tomorrow followed by sunshine and warmish temperatures this weekend. Could be pretty good. I'll be at Blue Friday, Saturday and Sunday mornings!!!!

I forgot what the significance of Easter is...I know Jesus was born on Christmas. He couldn't have died on Easter since Easter is a different date every year. Anyway when I was a kid I went to a friends house for Easter once and we had HAM. I like Ham...I always got an Easter basket with Jellybeans peeps and cadberry cream eggs!!! The only Easter songs I know are the one that goes Easter time is the time for eggs and the time for eggs is a Easter time and the Peter cottontail song is a good one. The day after Easter is a super busy day for us because people visit cemeteries on Easter and realize they still need to buy a tombstone for grandma. I looked it up and Easter is when Jesus was resurrected from the dead wow just wow....do people still believe this shit lol. Pictures or it didnt happen and you can't just pass some hippie dude off as Jesus or some Spanish bro who's name is Jesus. Shit is weird wild stuff. OK time to sell another tombstone with an angel and rosary beads on it!!!! Rack it!!!

Isn't Easter the second biggest holiday for Christians?? Big church day. I bet if you have kids it will be a bigger deal.
