  1. Resort pricing means they have a captive audience who will spend more money. You ever go to an amusement park or movie theater or sporting event and see what the prices are. Trust me if I owned a ski resort I wouldn't be charging Allentown prices for food and drink. I'm a businessman I'd wanna maximize profits. I honestly don't care if I spend $10 for dinner or $20 for dinner or whatever. That extra $10 isn't gonna affect me in lyfe and people can say wow that can add up well if that was the case id just get ghetto nachos from sheetz for $4.
  2. Thought they were half pound burgers. Anyway you're paying more for the view. Remember its resort pricing. I know a beer and burger at Emerils at the Sands is over $20. The best burger in Allentown is at Werts and its $7 with bacon and cheese and chips..costs more for fries or onion rings...I don't get beer there cause they have the best white birch beer. I refer to $20 bills as yuppie food stamps...mainly cause they disappear so fast. Anyway now I know not to get a burger at the Slopeside grill honestly I doubt I'll ever go there or the bar at Blue anyway. And if the burger is so thin that you can't get it medium then it is a ripoff..thanks for the food report!!!!
  3. Wow just wow...I'm gonna wear the same purple polo shirt I wore last weekend and to work on Wednesday...GSS Lyfe 24/7 nah mean???
  4. Hey All, It's almost another weekend, who's gonna be at Blue mountain this weekend? Looks like it will be a little cold tomorrow with possible snow and then the coldest day of the winter Sunday. Tomorrow is a definite for me and I'll be bringing high test beers for the lot and prob wanna hit up the CBI for lunch. I'm meeting this girl Saturday night I met last week and who came to karaoke Wednesday night. She thinks I'm the nicest person ever lulz and I must look good through her beer goggles. Anyway Sunday is a toss up. I sort of wanna sleep late for the first time in weeks and know my toes will be frozen at blue and my Herman will be shaking but I might wake up bright eyed and bushy tailed in Muhlenberg college off campus housing so who knows. Could be a good weekend. JADIP
  5. The Dude I thought you wrote off the Slopeside...if it was a good burger with all those toppings $20 with beer isn't bad. Would be that much at Chilis.
  6. Say hi to Matt Edge for me!!!
  7. $3.50 is cheap for a ski area bar...my local bar I believe is $2.50 for domestics an $5 for jack and cokes.
  8. Didnt know last night was Nastar thought it was slalom training. How much are beers at BC vs Blue??
  9. But isn't Monday night for prizes and stuff.
  10. You get the poutine???
  11. One day I'll go to Bear Creek. Maybe for a wedding.
  12. Wow that is profound stuff!!!
  13. Remember there's no I in team.
  14. TP4 I don't wanna hear that jibber jabber out of you...gotta give total support and total commitment to Team PASR aka the dream team!!!
  15. Ding ding ding although I appreciate that some wanna learn. My dad once took golf lessons and last night I was teaching the ladies how to Dougie.
  16. I'm not a good listener. If I wanted lessons I'd go up to Jack Frost and take an all day private from Phillycore.
  17. Would be cool if they set up super G gates on switchback. I'd do that as long as I didn't have to take the lesson.
  18. How much were lift tickets and how much best Belleayre is Plattekill?
  19. I used to snow random people on the slopes...I haven't done it in awhile though ;-)
  20. TP4 and VTMark are ok. I notice snowboarders are usually short because they start smoking cigs when they are 14 which stunts their growth.
  21. If I was the skier I would stab the boarder with my ski pole... http://unofficialnetworks.com/2015/02/disgusting-snowboarder-purposely-takes-out-skier-while-friend-films-it
  22. Interesting I was always told to keep the upper body silent so pretty much all legs in my skiing. At this point I don't care to work on things as it takes alot of the fun out of skiing but good on you for trying to improve. For the first 15 years as a skier I never thought about my arms or hands or poles. I should have worn a goPro Saturday at Blue...anyway it's all about having fun. Ski the way you like.
  23. Good luck team PASR you got this!!!!
  24. Just depends what march brings. Blue needs to blow more snow. Base depths are not as impressive as in some years.
  25. Not the hike to stuff but skied most of the lift served in a day...from the far left to far right... Welcome back Jordan!!!
