  1. Rollers or whoop dee doos or whatever used to be a camelback thing and they kind of suck...Blue never used to have em and have been adding more for speed control..they should just make the whole mountain rollers. One of these days maybe I'll land on someone on the other side of the rollers and decapitate them and then I'll sell them a tombstone. Another good place for a roller would be the middle of the falls...Barb when Root is done giving it to you doggie style, I suggest you take note. The lip of the last headwall is normal. Is not a roller...I'm talking before then. Skiing bear creek should be a reportable offense. Also parking in the upper lot should be a reportable offense.
  2. The snow was alright. I just love that early morning smooth fresh cord..luckily I'll get that the next three days. Switchback was better than Tuesday night..I wasn't skidding or anything just not like wow that was awesome. I should have got to blue earlier but partied hard last night. Some girls from Wednesday night karaoke at stooges said they were gonna be at Rooselvelts last night so I went there. One of theLehigh valleys hottest DJ was there and like ten girls I know from karaoke and just two dudes so I was dancing up a storm and yeah I was sweating..woo..that Bobby Schmurda song Hot N**** had me busting out some new moves I was working on. I can honestly say I'm a better dancer than skier. Only a couple brothers were ever at my level. But I've been hip hop dancing since 6th grade. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=1pHHclwCsZU
  3. Georgie is banned and Root is MIA although he was lurking the other night. Maybe Root will come with us to Jackson hole one year.
  4. Wow you skied the bumps? I didn't know you ski bumps... Wow no switchback...I don't think I've ever skied a day at blue with switchback open that I haven't skied it at least once just to see if its good. Amiright Johnny Law??? Third little roller wasnt a surprise but it sucks. I might go up during the middle of the night with a shovel and get ride of it. That's where I'm at about 60mph and don't want a roller there.
  5. Flurries aren't exciting..I would have rather had sun...no Jackson hole stoke..hasn't snowed there in a few days and they are still stuck around 200" so far this season.
  6. Just looked at the blue webcams no way an inch maybe a skiff of snow. The snow that was falling while I was skiing didn't even stick as its above freezing.
  7. Did you read my report?
  8. Hey all, I'm back from a quick session at Blue mountain. I would have stayed longer but I switched my A-Lines into my new boots which proved to be no good on my right foot as there's just not enough volume for them as the heal is lifted quite a bit and that's my larger foot. Was giving me a nasty pressure point in the middle of my boot...was much better Tuesday night with just the stock liners..which wasnt bad for my first time on a pair of new boots. I arrived at the lower lot at around 1145am and while the entire drive was sunny..a thick cloud cover took over with flurries. Crowds were less than I expected with no real liftline for the six pack and the typical mostly gaper mellow weekday crowd. I mainly skied razors edge and I can honestly say that those three rollers..especially the last one really kill the flow of the trail..really makes it much tougher to ski it at top speed which is lame. For years razors was smooth and last year they added a roller but now there's more. I don't like the roller on Dreamweaver either. The snow ok razors was a combination of packed powder and loose granular. The only other run I skied besides Razors was Switchback which was packed powder and frozen granular so not as good as razors. Sidewinder is now open and looks like some different features but I didn't ski it as the snow looked super chunky. The temperature was in the low to mid 30s with strong winds and I was definitely over dressed as I had a fleece layer..I sweat every run I skied. I only had a lift conversation with one person..this 26 year old girl from Connecticut who said it was so warm she didn't even wear snow pants..she was wearing some sort of pajama pants yet had a facemask on. She asked me if it was snowing and I said yes...no it's feathers jajajajajajaja..and she said that was so cool lol..I would have skied with her but she was a rent-tard and I don't have time for that. Anyway I'm looking forward to skiing tomorrow in more comfortable boots and home fully I can break these in before Jackson hole. If not ill be pacing in circles around my apartment prior to my trip. My old boots had about 230 days on them over 4.5 seasons so even though they are the same size the new boots are much more snug. They are actually easier to get into than my old nordicas but getting out is difficult especially when it was cold the other night. Oh well..#SkierProblems...still better than work. See all y'all tomorrow. Gonna be in the single digits to start and still a little windy so dress warm..yes I'm talking to you Toast!!!!!
  9. Nice report Moe. I like cheese with holes. Jeremiah weed shots wow. You know I was once good friends with a bulldog named Jeremiah...yuk yuk yuk
  10. Johnny I love your optimism...I'm heading up to Blue in a few. I hope razors is open to the public.
  11. I don't think you skied with me back when I skied on Atomic race skis..I used to hypercarve hard..lay down railroad tracks. Choo choo
  12. Just a chance of precip Sunday will likely be snow on the poconos and prob won't start till afternoon.
  13. Nice skis NMSki how fat and long are those?
  14. He was in Rodney's crew..one of the guys at the bar was telling me about him. I'm sure they'll toast a few cold ones and bowls of skunk to him at the perch!!!
  15. I'll be at Blue Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday mornings!!!
  16. Well those super shapes aren't popular anymore like in the early 2000s...on fresh cord I love hyper carving..I've gotten so low I needed body Armour...yeah I crashed into the camara man..no big deal.
  17. You mean Ski999..yeah DHarrisburg is cool. He was actually TP4s camp counselor circa 2004 Yup I was Bart on Teton Gravity!!! They weren't impressed that I got a silver medal in Nastar.
  18. Here's a new slang term DVD..it's a MMF threesome lol I miss 90s slang. I haven't called someone Home Skilletg in like 15 years or No Duh. I also haven't described something as Phat or The Bomb in awhile. I am waiting for the right situation to tell somebody to Talk to the Hand.
  19. I know that snowboarding is declining in popularity since the late 90s with the advent of Twin Tips and rockered skis. My assessment of this is as follows. Typically kids who start skiing young start because of their parents who are likely skiers so start as skiers themselves plus skiing is easier than snowboarding for real young kids. Kids who start as pre teens or teens often begin because of school ski clubs or friends and it seems pretty split between skiers and snowboarders. When its young kids on the hill like Tuesday night id say something like 1/3-1/2 of them are snowboarders where as when its mostly adult season passholders early mornings on the weekends it's like 90% skiers at least.. The teenagers of the late 90s who helped save the declining industry are in their 30s now and most of them have switched back to skiing from snowboarder but a few still snowboard as they approach middle age. AngryHugo switched from snowboarding to skiing three years ago and my Montana friend Tom switched to skiing several years ago. Even Atomic Jeff used to snowboard. Darien Connecticut is where alot of 1%ers live so that's a good theory...anyway skiing amoung youth is more popular now than a decade or two ago for sure no questions about it. Back in the day there wasn't a terrain park, there was a snowboard park. Also look at how few local areas have half pipes anymore.
  20. You only saw that for the first time..wow..some people don't even know what Bye Felicia means..SMherman
  21. No idea as I was positively greeted last night by like 25 people last night at karaoke ranging from college girls to middle aged men. One of the eleventeen year olds even helped me sing fucking problems and that my friend is not a fucking problem.
  22. You can only edit posts for up to ten minutes. I'm the reason for that rule cause when there were flame wars on here I'd write some crazy shit and then get some crazy responses with people with giant Internet muscles. Then I would delete or edit my origional comments and make the person I was arguing with look like he was throwing out personal attacks for no reason. Wow I miss the early PASR drama. Good luck Team PASR!!!!
  23. Wow just wow I just started a thread about Root in the Lounge. My ears must have been ringing. SMH shaking my Herman!!!
  24. I watched it again..I think it's cool. Kind of has a euro thing going and reminds me of 90s ska like the mighty mighty bosstones or Reel Big Fish. This is my favorite ski video from I think 2008 or 2009..My Friend is a Pro!!! https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=QKuc658vOmM
