Will be awhile until tickets crack $100 a day in PA. I know last seasons walk up rate at Vail beaver creek was $129. I bought a voucher off someone for $80 out there who would have thought an $80 lift ticket is a $50 savings. My buddy Tom balked at the $109 he paid for a one day ticket to Jackson hole. Three years ago I paid $30 daily to park at Northstar and $100 for daily lift tickets I think a three day was maybe like $290 wow big savings and that was for a handful of snowmaking runs. I bought a round for my bro in law his dad and my dad and was over $50...shits not cheap. Allentown is hella cheap. Daily $1.75 beer specials at my local bar and $1 beers Friday happy hour $3 imports.

I'd wouldn't pay $1,000 but I would pay $999.

I don't think I ever skied blue on a Sunday night. Always either weekday nights or weekend mornings. 4pm grooming is missed by all.

I miss the good old days when a morning ticket on the weekend was I think $27 and good from 730-1230 and u could go in for an early lunch get scanned back in at 1130 and ski as long as u wanted on morning ticket. They don't even allow smoking in the cafeteria anymore. Sheryl crow says change can do you good nah that's bullshit bring back the old Blue mountain. And whatever happened to Rays grill on skis???

In 2006-07 I skied 119 days including a streak of 61 straight days...ever since then I've been slacking. I just want 70 days this season. 50 at Blue and 20 in the Rockies. MBike-mike do you have bump skis?

I didn't ski JF/BB before I joined PASR with the exception of one time with my uncle in 1994 who was a patroller at Jack Frost...all I remember from that visit was that the runs were short as fuck. I don't think the elevator was open then or tree skiing though. That's interesting!!!

Not really Jack Frost operates mid December to mid march and big boulder November to April. It's been like that as long as I can remember. Anyway I personally think the big boulder trail at big boulder is better than any of the non east mountain terrain at frost.

The waterpark is on hold. Apparently they are putting alot of money into the place because Bruce who's 1/3 owner is not doing well health wise and Barbie is gonna sell out.

They wanna keep payroll costs down..when did they open last season? Last year was very cold the week after Thanksgiving.

I know the new tent where the PASRs used to park is gonna be their ski shop. They need to get the construction wrapped up.

Looks like season passes at elk are $550-$650 based on when they are bought. Cheaper than Blue except for the $500 special they run in late winter.
