  1. Really $25 tickets the week after XMAS...now my Herman is shake Shake shaking woo
  2. The snowmaking cannons were blowing on Tuts lane and homestretch this morning and looks like temperatures in the teens tonight so they'll keep pumping snow. Will be nice if six pack opens next weekend. Alot of blues services are now down there. I heard there's still alot of construction left on the lower lodge and the parking lot down there is a little different with the new fishing pond.
  3. Was crowded didn't ski the bumps..just high speed grooming for me...good conditions on Main Street and chute..kind of herky jerky on lazy. Blue made alot of money today. Nice what is it????
  4. I think the days the 28th...SMH shaking my Herman. Lol wow just wow.
  5. Hey all, I'm back from another winterlike November session at Blue mountain the true mountain. I arrived at the upper lot at 8:07am and there were alot of cars already in the upper lot. The temperature was 27 degrees with light snowflakes cascading down. Root, Toast, GahSkier, Atomic Jeff, Rodney, ZZslope, MBike Mike, Junior, cowboy hat lady and Johnny law were all in the house. Nice fun skiercross style start at 830am on this Blue Friday. I ended up fourth down behind Jeff, Toast and some kid I rode the lift with. I needed a fanny flap as the recent snow was on the chairs. Upper Main Street was great..lower was more loose granular..didnt hold together well with the traffic. Lazy mile was rutted and kind of crusty so only skied it once. Upper Main Street remained good for a few runs and some were skiing the fresh under the chain from come around to chute. As the crowds grew unfortunately the Burma chair was still sitting silent which made liftlines at least 15-20+ minutes on both the Main Street and Burma sides all merging into the Main Street chair. Last run was come around to chute to lower Main Street. Chute was really nice lower Main Street not so much. Probably a 15 minute line on the Burma side. Add wet from early rides. Had a dirt wolf and long trail blackberry wheat in the very crowded lot...then really weaved the noodle through row 3 as lots of big SUVs and pickups jutting out. Had break at the BMDI and had 2.6 Cups of coffee...JADIP!!!! See everyone tomorrow!!!!
  6. Was there much poaching going on???
  7. Blue typically goes to full price once they get lazy open. I want the prices high with limited terrain to keep the crowds down. People on Blues FB page are pissed.
  8. I thought blue was charging $40 last weekend.
  9. We actually got about 1/4 of an inch of snow overnight. Temperature is rising and the snow is melting now.
  10. How is Blue's pricing rediculous? They should have the highest pricing around based on the product they provide. Two high speed lifts and the areas best trails and snowmaking don't hurt. Look at the number of season passes they sell. I'm sure in the thousands.
  11. Looks like you're the winner up in the poke n Hoes
  12. Yup....whoever is in charge of pricing doesn't understand the concept of perceived value. It's so important for any business when pricing their products and services.
  13. This new snow is gonna make the bumps soft and big...I didn't hit the bumps opening weekend but plan to Friday..
  14. Roads aren't bad at all PennDott did a good job. Watch out for slush puddles if walking around...and clean off the snow on the roof of car...this snow has alot of weight to it...a bunch of people who went to my high school play a beer fueled football game every year on Thanksgiving day..it's called the resin bowl and they even have t shirts and stuff..should be some rowdy conditions for them. I believe it's flag football or two hand touch but shit gets spicy. They'd tackle my ass if I was playing lol
  15. $250 for a six pack definitely isn't a deal...they won't sell many...at $150 or even better $149 they would sell alot and of course people would still leave plenty of unused days and JF/BB gets alot of extra early season revenue from people who don't ski there enough to make a season pass worth it yes plan on heading there multiple times. Those are the kind of people who are gonna rent gear, buy a $15 lunch and hang at the bar...just my inflation adjusted two cents.
  16. Is wegmans open on thanksgiving? Might have to buy beer at the bar.
  17. As long as nobody sees...my friend Larry told me fat women don't get wet...they soak..yuk yuk yuk.
  18. That's a real Hermanshaker..
  19. I'm guessing about 5" total. It's still snowing but it's warmer than earlier and almost mixing with rain so not really accumulating anymore. When it gets below freezing towards daybreak its gonna be an icy mess. Enjoy cause by Monday will be mostly gone. Perfect snowman making snow for the groms
  20. What about skifreak??? I see him lurking now!!!!
  21. I'm a hypocrit...I'm fat but not into fat chicks...kind of like u!!!!
  22. Haha...see u Saturday
  23. Snow is heavy and wet...
  24. Most people just buy a pass at blue for the day. It can be transferred to anybody so if its good 8-2 it's alot less likely someone is gonna sell it in the lot vs if its good from 8am-10pm. It was talked about by the blue mountain social media coordinator on Facebook. Glad you get 8 hours now buying online. I can be 6 hours being a little short on time for some but 8 hours is fantastic. Can ski all day. Most resorts are only open 9-4 Anyway resale of tickets whether RFID happens plenty. The risk that the ticket is expired is part of the deal but most reselling are honest and there is genuinely time left on it.
