  1. Now saying 23 degrees for Friday night for Allentown..maybe blue can get a good several hours of snowmaking on paradise and homestretch to give em some Lyfe.
  2. I've had two pairs of ski pants in the last 9 years and one helmet. I haven't skimped on new gear cause I can't afford it. I'm just lazy. What kind of truck did you buy?
  3. Sounds good Shadows...remember if you can save $100 a week for a year that's 5 grand which is a good buffet for future emergencies and lyfe!!!!
  4. Are they opening tomorrow??
  5. Snow likely Saturday night but not cold enough to blow snow. I'm gonna be driving back from DC on XMAS
  6. I heard its paradise out there for train lovers.
  7. Yeah TNT I'm not expecting very big crowds this weekend. Won't be crowded at Blue until 12/26 It's already exceeded the forecasted high temperature of 48 as its 49 degrees. Again temperatures have not getting as cool overnight as predicted due to all the continued cloud cover. Partly sunny forecasts lately have turned into mostly cloudy. That's a real hermanshaker. Anyway I'm looking forward to skiing blue tomorrow morning!!! Indiggio is right about temperatures trending upwards into next week. At least 5-8 degrees. Not good. Any word on the possible XMAS snowstorm?
  8. Looks like they are running the quad instead of the six pack today.
  9. Ok I remember TNT saying it was like a 10-15 minute wait for the Main Street chair on Sunday which I find hard to believe.
  10. Base altitude 1850 feet. Wow just wow.
  11. Was the Burma chair running this past weekend? Looking at the webcams, looks like Homestretch has survived. Maybe they'll be blowing down there tomorrow..plus Johnny Law said the sun will come out tomorrow. Oh wait that's little Orphan Annie
  12. That's nice of you Johnny Law but he has a job.
  13. First of all Shadows when are you gonna ski blue. I haven't seen you in over 4 years. VIP line and November openings two seasons in a row is pretty good for local peeps. I remember having to slum it at camelback and big boulder early and late season. Those days are over.
  14. And alot of patience when that thing stops alot. Stowe best western isn't in Stowe though its in Waterbury which is lame.
  15. Indiggio I know you like to session the Main Street chair. It's interesting to hear about how people ski Blue.
  16. Yup until they're in college and date an older bad boy!!!
  17. Wow...you're such a good dad!!!!
  18. We can stay in the baller suite at the best western Rutvegas. Root gets the pullout couch.
  19. Nice I'm guessing not many lessons this time of the year..
  20. I saw that one...look before you leap!!!!
  21. True dat PARidge...this time of year when it's just the blues and greens in the mellow middle section just doesn't compare to when Floyd's and the east mountain and woods are open.
  22. Sabba where did you go to college? I think Saint Lawrence is up there. I just saw their website. 1151 vert..that's nice of you to wanna help family ski. I have a friend who's a casual snowboarder who wants to go with me and I keep putting him off. I just don't wanna be bothered by skiing with noobs. Definitely post a report with pictures!!!
  23. I only did the bumps once on Sunday but Main Street a few times...takes some legs to straight run the chop on the lower part of Main Street. I hope they let the bumps get really big. I really dislike breaking in the new seeds. Nice are you doing two days at Whiteface and one day at Big Tupper? I've heard of Big Tupper, Warp Daddy from AlpineZone used to ski there quite a bit. How's the natural snowpack up there??? I saw pictures from this morning at Stowe which is probably only 50-60 miles as the crow flys from the adirondacks and all the trees are still snow covered.
