  1. Yup that was in 2007...I remember a giant suite in Bennington and that run at Mount Snow was a serious leg burner for opening day. I think about 1700 vert.
  2. You are on fire today...like the Gloria Estafan song feeling hot hot hot
  3. Wow they can probably open next weekend.
  4. Anybody know if Sidewinder park is open yet ?
  5. Exactly what I was gonna post.
  6. I think I'll be on sled dogs.
  7. I'm prob starting the ski season out on my shiros. Need fat skis to float over the cookies
  8. What asshole gave this thread 1 star damn. Nothing will ever blow my mind more than the day I saw a deadhead sticker on a Cadillac. Shit was weird wild stuff. Changed my entire perspective on lyfe. The best was the time me and atomic Jeff closed switchback. We put the rope across it and had a good 3-4'runs to ourselves before patrol pulled the role. Was funny seeing people ski right past it. It was an uncrowded night, I don't think that shit would fly on a weekend.
  9. Are you guys stoked for ski season or what???? I should start stocking up on parking lot beers but I'm afraid if I have em around I'll drink em all before opening day. Opening day last year was a heck of a party. Something about skiing in PA in November. I wonder if ILikeIceCream will be at Blue opening day. A shame his brother drove over his skis. That is a real hermanshaker. Maybe GSSucks will fly in for a free donut.
  10. The other day I was feeling like a wimp cause the GSS of a couple years ago would have done opening at Killington. I believe I did opening at Killington 3-4 times in a row with atomic Jeff. One year Phillycore met us and one year -Dan and XNick hit up KMart. Top to bottom makes a huge difference. To take a gondola then have everybody at the Northridge triple creates a long liftline when KMart is the only game in town. Then to exit it means waiting in a long line then taking lift up walking up stairway to heaven and riding down gondola. Alot different than skiing back to your car. He carefull the bottom half of Killington when they first get open top to bottom is very conjested. A real mixing bowl of sorts. Kyle be sure to post up a report from Killington!!!
  11. Wow lol.. Oh Lordy...if I ever get into competitive swimming I'm gonna shave all my body hair so I'm hydrodynamic..maybe just leave a little patch on my taint..
  12. Yup I love this discussion cause whenever it occurs it means its just about time to ski. They should starting blowing tonight on switchback really change things up for opening.
  13. Meanwhile at the base of JHMR
  14. With the humidity I doubt it. Their plan was to do a test today and that's what they did. Won't make any difference when it comes to their opening. What will count most will be next weeks production.
  15. Haha some derps actually fell for that one. Too warm to blow this afternoon.
  16. Congrats Root!!!!!
  17. U beat me to it toast. Was just about to post that. My phone is also 41%
  18. I'm not good with mechanical shit. You'll never see me sharpening my own skis or mowing the lawn. Must be my jewish blood. I remember the bdays of every kid from my Kindergarden class 30 years ago. My dad can't even remember what he ate for lunch yesterday.
  19. I miss the old days of PASR with Skimom and ski dude and racerchick and Papasteeze and ski999. That was before I had Facebook to entertain me. I don't think they will Stowe doesn't even charge for parking and they're the most upscale resort in the east. I'm glad blue doesnt have parking attendants they are annoying as fuck. Remember about 7 years ago when blue was gonna build condos and time shares??? At the end of the season they had posters showing the new expansion but it never happened.
  20. No. Mary from BC offered me a free day there cause I won a bet with her but I never took her up on her offer.
  21. l I thought that's how people save tables at ski areas lol. Jack Frost is Old school it's like going back to the 80s
  22. It feels like winter today. Not even 40 degrees and I was wearing shorts last week. Time to put the mesh shirts in storage. I skied there once when it was doe mountain in 1995 for free and it wasn't worth the price. Bear creek is a popular place for rich people to get married.
  23. Congrats TP4..on getting a pass and I agree that Rajeev should post more. I seriously think Rajeev is some troll like first grade teacher. TP4 you'd laugh at my liftline confrontations with FGT. He skis at Blue with professional looking older people and I always call him out for being an Internet troll like,"hey Larry you're a fucking Internet troll". The one time he said that's harassment. Like I give a fuck lol
  24. TP4 Burton71 is extreme he has a pass at bear creek.
  25. Fancy TP4...I don't even wear ties to weddings anymore but I do wear a sport coat. I thought most car salesman wear a polo shirt. Honestly I've never been able to tie a tie. When I worked for Merrill lunch my mom pre tied my tie and I would just tighten and loosen it everyday. I tried super hard to learn when I was in finance club in college and just couldn't do it.
