  1. I saw that comment, and I was thankful they weren’t blasting the guns..
  2. Do you boot up at the car!!!
  3. People on Facebook late morning were bitching about the roads and thought they were good.
  4. Hey All, I’m back from another fun morning at Blue mountain the true mountain. Slow drive up and I arrived at the lower lot at 724am and it was around 10 degrees under partly sunny sky’s. In the house were Atomic Jeff, Johnny Law, Oz, JFDan, Dirtwolf, PARidge, Nazareth Jay and a handful of others. OG Six pack first to challenge which was nice packed powder, a little firm, I skied that again and then razors which was a little firm at the top but nice packed powder in the center. Main Street was also very nice and I repeated that. Sidewinder and switchback were left ungroomed and I skipped those. I revisited challenge and some little cookies had churned up. I also skied nightmare Dreamweaver twice and it was decent after the first big turn..with a couple features set up. The sun rose brightly and it didn’t feel that frigid…now back at work like a dork and people to call back.
  5. I’d say 5”+ west side of Allentown. I just cleaned off my car and it’s very drifty the first inch or two of snow heavy and wet and the rest is going wherever the wind will take it. Could be treacherous roadways as the temperature drops
  6. People currently parked at the summit will be able to exit the mountain but those arriving must entering through Palmerton and leave that way as well..
  7. Blue mountain drive is closed to all uphill travel. WOW
  8. A day pass isn’t gonna get him first tracks
  9. No I said we wouldn’t have virga which we didn’t…
  10. @saltyant I’m hearing that Floyd’s is almost ready to open.
  11. You’re dreaming but some might think it’s a 9am stat when it’s really an 8am start.
  12. Closing in on 2” in the LV and yes looks like some heavy bands coming through so could end up 6”+
  13. #BigFacts…I post that before I saw your comment.
  14. He makes money off YouTube. Usually the first year people are liftees and realize they don’t get to ski and ride much so then work at bars and restaurants.
  15. Unpopular opinion, I don’t see how we are gonna get 6-10” considering the radar and temperatures..looks like we are about to get dry slotted a little. I’m thinking we end up with 4-5” that will be decent. More I’m not expecting. I’ve followed snowstorms for a long time and this just looks sort of unimpressive but maybe I’m wrong and will crank up.
  16. Hey all I’m back from another fun morning at Blue mountain the true mountain. I arrived at the lower lot around 720am and it was cloudy and in the low 30s. In the house was everybody but salty schif, Nancy, toast and Matt edge. Second civilian OG six pack to challenge which was nice a little rolly Polly in the middle I even heard creamy mentioned. Challenge was good enough for a repeat then sidewinder which was real nice. Main Street was nice especially on the top and switchback was decent, a few slick spots. Coming soon was ok, I heard lazy Mile was bad and cookied up but didn’t ski it. Repeats were made on challenge, Main Street, and sidewinder, sidewinder got a little choppy but not bad. Crowds were slightly less than peak, couple minute waits were the norm. Fun parking lot with beers, snacks, sausage, steak and pork loin. Easy drive back to the A with barely any cars on the road. Looks like we might get a couple inches of snow. JADIP
  17. Hey All, I’m back from another fun session at blue mountain the true mountain. I arrived at the lower lot at 720am and it was in the mid 20s under overcast sky’s. In the house was everybody but PSUFlyGuy, Schif, Nancy and NMSki. Second civilian OG six pack to challenge which was very nice, sidewinder was also real good as was switchback and especially upper Main Street. Coming soon was a little scrappy but not terrible, the only real bad conditions were on lazy. There were crowds but not as bad as last weekend, I think because there’s some rain in the forecast today and also Ikon passes are blacked out. I did an easy out to vista to Burma run for the culture and it was a clusterfuck but decent snow and ended on Main Street. Fun parking lot with some beers and snacks. Now at work counting money, on the drive back I had to pee so bad I almost pulled into a Jewish cemetery in Whitehall to relieve myself but held it in. JADIP
