Hey All, I’m back from another fun session at blue mountain the true mountain. I arrived at the lower lot at 720am and it was in the mid 20s under overcast sky’s. In the house was everybody but PSUFlyGuy, Schif, Nancy and NMSki. Second civilian OG six pack to challenge which was very nice, sidewinder was also real good as was switchback and especially upper Main Street. Coming soon was a little scrappy but not terrible, the only real bad conditions were on lazy. There were crowds but not as bad as last weekend, I think because there’s some rain in the forecast today and also Ikon passes are blacked out. I did an easy out to vista to Burma run for the culture and it was a clusterfuck but decent snow and ended on Main Street. Fun parking lot with some beers and snacks. Now at work counting money, on the drive back I had to pee so bad I almost pulled into a Jewish cemetery in Whitehall to relieve myself but held it in. JADIP

Anybody here ever been a liftie I know @Shadows used to bump chairs on the Main Street lift. Although I haven’t seen this yet. It’s on my list of stuff to watch.

Nice report Barb and have there been any inversions? -26 booting up a few years ago at JH seemed bad…but it was near zero up high. 20 degrees in Allentown when it’s windy and damp feels colder

Thanks aside from the rare boner doner pow days…cold like this current season as good as it gets for ski areas in MASH mid Atlantic ski hell. I actually appreciate blue more now than I was younger. While I’m not that fussy about ski conditions, I’ll gladly trade longer runs and consistent pitch almost almost everything I’ve skied the Hobacks at Jackson hole on garbage conditions many times and rather have that than bear creek at its best

Would you return or more a been there done that? I imagine the drive is about the same for you as for Blue.
