Welcome to PASR the new summit lodge isn’t even that much different than before, just a spruced up ballroom and the slope side. Most of it is the same as it’s been since the 80s. The lower lodge is a gem and probably cost a whole lot less..it’s much more utilitarian..better bathrooms and plenty of benches for inside booster uppers. They even have benches in the bathroom in case you want to change with the smell of urine and French fries.

I wonder if there’s a revised trail map or new brochure that names the new lift or gives any more details.

Wow I’ve only been to your area twice..there’s a church and cemetery in powder valley we’ve done work at. I never even knew that area existed until a few years ago.

I wasn’t around for that storm, me and Atomic Jeff were headed for Jackson hole the day of that blizzard so we booked our flights and hotel two days earlier so instead of 7 ski days at Jackson hole we had 9 ski days at Jackson hole. Poor us.

It usually snows more in Allentown than at Blue..When I was a kid there were a few storms where it was rain in Allentown and 6-8” of heavy wet snow at Blue and it’s been a long time since we’ve had that sort of situation. It’s funny when we get those southern and or coastal storms and Philly gets dumped on and Blue gets fuck all. Toast will tell you about the backyard affect. It brings all the Tom Dick and Phoungs out to Blue the true.

I haven’t been paying attention but has Blue posted any updates on the progress of their new lift on their Facebook page.

Because they’re expensive and many of these roads are to narrow for guardrails. On my geology trip to Colorado in 2000, my professor was more focused on the rock formations than driving and there were a few sketchy moments. From taking two geology classes, all I remember is that some rocks are harder than others and some are older.
