Do people still call it Folf? Frisbee golf is also usually free.

Looks like nice corn snow on Main Street.
-
@saltyant it’s rained almost 2” so far today. This is grate for the snowmaking ponds!!

United airlines is asking me if I want to buy any snacks on the plane ahead of time for my flight on Tuesday. I’ll probably pass as I’m a boomer and arrive at the airport 2-3 hours early and usually eat something in the airport then gain two hours and will have lunch on the way to summit county and then have dinner and snacks as well I’m sure I don’t need a fourth meal. The burger sang is tempting and only $10

I heard the bread is free. Salty do you like vegetables?

If they could figure out a way to trick customers into washing their own dishes, restaurants could really cut out a lot of overhead.

I went to the cook your own restaurant in Silverthorne(the mint) and I picked out a steak(a ribeye) and I asked if they’d cook it medium because I wanted to relax at the bar and they Obliged. There’s a Mexican restaurant in Rehobath beach that has deconstructed tacos on the menu...now that’s something I like. Hard beef tacos for me please!!!

Looks good and it’s supposed to snow Monday in Tahoe.

The last time I went to a Pondersa was when I was in college. Back then it was maybe $11.99-$15 for a steak but came with salad bar with hot and cold items like tacos and pasta and potato skins and I believe soft served ice cream...same concept. Since I’m happily putting off work I have to get done this afternoon, I’ll find you a short Anthony bourdain video from the sizzler. Three minutes long.

Well then have a nice supper at a chicken house or try some Rocky Mountain oysters.
-
I like Longhorn, Outback and Texas Roadhouse. I haven’t been to longhorn in years and used to go with my parents. They have good salad, bread and their steaks are decent. Texas Roadhouse has prime rib that is good and the Outback has their famous blooming onion and Australian theme. I just think if you’re in the Rocky Mountains and want a steak get it from somewhere that sources it locally and prepares it uniquely. My last jackson trip I had a bison steak in a really nice sauce with nice accomplishment. I think it was about $50 but came with mersheded perterers and some sort of veggie. Honestly a lot of days after skiing I just want pizza.. @saltyant can tell you about the place where you cook your own steaks...it even has a salad bar.

Fuck no it’s crowded and flat. -
That’s how @NMSKIbunghole feels the morning after a Mexican fiesta

I stayed at that La Quinta before..its kind of crappy. I haven’t booked my hotel yet for Colorado but prob either Comfort suites or the Hampton inn..both pretty cheap as it’s the off season.
-
Well it’s only for 3 days and rental car prices are a lot lower now than in mid winter. I just rent through Alamo..

Are you on the 9:25pm flight out of philly tomorrow night?
-
From webcams and snow reports you should know what the conditions are like. It’s supposed to snow Tuesday and Wednesday for when I arrive. Where are you staying in Silverthorne?

Philly airport in the garages is $24 per day but if you’re parked over 24 hours it’s $16 per day which is quite reasonable. If you park right at your terminal in Newark airport it’s $44 per day. Years ago I was running late and didn’t have time for economy or off site and parked at the gate and was $38 a day then. The garage with sky train access at Newark is $38 per day and economy is $21 per day. Economy parking at Philly used to be like $11-12 a day. For Newark I park at the parking spot Haines because it’s actually closer than the economy lots and their service is impeccable. I’ve never done off site at Philly. I’d consider taking an Uber to the Philly airport but don’t trust that the vehicle would be able to accomadate my ski bag. If I ever fly out of Allentown airport I’d prob take uber. I sort of want to visit Nashville sometime for all the ladies and bachelorette parties.

Crested butte aka crusty butt used to have a naked ski day. I think that was back when Bush was in office and there was definitely a lot of bush on the hill hehehehe

Multi-Mountain Pass Pricing

My Montana friend is so spoiled...I believe bridger bowl received about 160” of snow this season and everything was open although obviously some thin cover. That’s still quite a few pow days. The second ski season I lived out there it snowed 105” in five days. I didn’t ask him how many days he skied this season but I’d be surprised if he skied 10 days and he lives 20 minutes from a 2400 vert mountain and an hour from big sky. He should have come to Jackson hole, while it was a lean snow year there they still received 330”
