  1. Guy at 40 seconds is very very lucky. Shit doing office work is better than what those people are dealing with. Sheesh.
  2. Then go to Breckenridge or Jackson hole where it’s 60 and sunny today to ride your bike.
  3. Sweet yeah I saw the group picture and they’re a huge and legit crew.
  4. Did they get soft yesterday?? Blue should try to open this weekend for a day just for bragging rights. Or turn it into a charity thing where you get a ticket if you bring 5 cans of food or something. I know they want to start construction of the water park, condos, fishing pond(yes I have a Koi guy on the south side) if they need Koi fish, new lift and probably gonna send out the annual,” time to clean out your lockers and return seasonal rentals letter”...at least camelback has snow tubing available this weekend for snowsports enthusiasts.
  5. I don’t think the snow at Mont Bleu is melting today.
  6. Barb how are you feeling?
  7. You had to be there to find out.
  8. Hopefully you get some snow to put it out. I know the mountains are supposed to get snow Tuesday.
  9. Did you make it up there today?
  10. Was quite a ski season and a nice ending.
  11. Closing day
  12. It’s snowing at seven springs and Tuesday morning it’s supposed to be 6 degrees.
  13. Beau is a legend and Toast you were missed today.
  14. Enjorales and pops also in the house. It was hailing a little bit as well and people were like,”Oh Hail No”
  15. Hey All, I’m back from another fun session at Blue mountain the true mountain. I arrived at the lower lot at 720am and it was in the upper 20s under mostly cloudy skies. In the house were BenM, JFDan, Johnny Law, MBike Mike, Justo, Mute, Rose, T Maki, -Dan, Tarpenhead, Indiggio, Slim, West Chester homeys, Gary, Gary, PARidge, Bethlehem Ford Guy, Jimmy, Harold, Drew and many others. First run on challenge was stiff but not terrible. Lazy mile had nice soft cord, the falls has quite the lip still, coming soon was pretty solid and razors as well was firmish. Lower raceway to midway to lower Main Street was a delight along with a speed run on paradise but my favorite was Main Street, particularly the left side below the bare area where Barney’s bumps used to be..woo woo four inch base of nothing but corn..skied that about four times took a monster piss and had a few beers and white cheddar popcorn. Now I’m posted up at Grumpys then going into work to count money...JADIP!!!
  16. Always opening for me and I’m sure for most..we might even have some rain showers from like 8-10am. I don’t think it’s gonna get cold enough for the teeth chattering stuff..definitely wasn’t much of that this morning or the other day and if there is frozen cord it gets skied off fast.
  17. Sunday I’ll be singing this song except Goodbye to Blue...also the song I will ski you in November..
  18. I didn’t ski it, Johnny Law did and said it was pretty bare. Overall coverage is a lot better than a lot of closing weekends. If they blew snow Sunday Monday and Tuesday nights, they could stay open another two weeks.
  19. Have you ever wanted to own a ski area, it’s a lot of work but for some it’s very rewarding and the juice is worth the squeeze. Brodie mountain in Massatwoshits is for sale. https://www.google.com/amp/s/unofficialnetworks.com/2022/03/24/for-sale-massachusetts-ski-resort/amp/
  20. Blue is now under new management....
  21. I don’t see Blue ever building a new valley lodge. It serves its purpose and is very utilitarian and there’s already a fancy lodge at the top. It’s not about having enough snowmaking to open top to bottom, it’s that they’d need to open with two lodges instead of one which is much more labor intensive but it could be the case if the new lift from the valley to the top of Main Street actually goes in.
  22. Hey All, I’m back from my final weekday session at Blue mountain the true mountain. I arrived at the lower lot at 8:35am and it was in the low 40s with fog on the lower mountain and sunshine on the top half. In the house were Atomic Jeff, C1er, Tele Matt, Charles, Johnny Law, Jimmy, Bethlehem Ford Guy and some other regulars. First run on lazy started out ok then was ski by braille lower part. I skied that again then hit up paradise which was alright until right before the sharp corner then into the fog. Coming soon as seeded bumps on the left side top to bottom..even on the inrun which will make anybody look like Johnny Mosley on that 10 degree pitch. The groomed part of coming soon was decent. Sidewinder I enjoyed the best and skied that the last three runs..it was semi spring snow, just starting to corn up. Back in the lot it was in the low 50s and I hungout for about 40 minutes and had two beers. Today was Atomic Jeff’s last day of the season at Blue as he’s going to Colorado tomorrow and Charles last day as well as he’s leaving for Nashville later today. All in all despite the fog it was a solid session. Ski most of you this weekend..dress warm.
