Hey All, I’m back from my final weekday session at Blue mountain the true mountain. I arrived at the lower lot at 8:35am and it was in the low 40s with fog on the lower mountain and sunshine on the top half. In the house were Atomic Jeff, C1er, Tele Matt, Charles, Johnny Law, Jimmy, Bethlehem Ford Guy and some other regulars. First run on lazy started out ok then was ski by braille lower part. I skied that again then hit up paradise which was alright until right before the sharp corner then into the fog. Coming soon as seeded bumps on the left side top to bottom..even on the inrun which will make anybody look like Johnny Mosley on that 10 degree pitch. The groomed part of coming soon was decent. Sidewinder I enjoyed the best and skied that the last three runs..it was semi spring snow, just starting to corn up. Back in the lot it was in the low 50s and I hungout for about 40 minutes and had two beers. Today was Atomic Jeff’s last day of the season at Blue as he’s going to Colorado tomorrow and Charles last day as well as he’s leaving for Nashville later today. All in all despite the fog it was a solid session. Ski most of you this weekend..dress warm.

I thought you were over Jack Frost. Also it won’t affect skiing at all and the lifts are slow.

Nobody cares about Jack Frost

Hey All, It’s almost another weekend...a bittersweet closing weekend at Blue mountain the true mountain but it’s been quite a good ski season despite about 15 rainstorms and tropical heat waves intermixed with some winter. Is anybody gonna be at Blue mountain this weekend? Looks like maybe some showers on Saturday and cloudy sky’s on Sunday but you never know..maybe the sun will come out. It should be a fun one with variable conditions and cold beer.

Good snowmaking temperatures Sunday and Monday nights.

I have a couple minutes before my 1pm appointment so might as well make some more additions to this thread. Spanakopita was bomb as always..like three different crews enjoyed it. NMSki was missing but there in spirit let’s hope he’s out this weekend. Toast was very giddy, was a normal ski day for GSSucks cracking a cold American beer at 7something in the AM. Root was there got to follow him down lazy mile. The root he takes is more like a mile and a half lol. Customers here TBC

I don’t think tubing is open and you’re dreaming about spring corn this weekend. -

Does it involve tombstones or karaoke? -
I just booked my Colorado trip April 12th-19th. It just about always snows during that time period. Stowe is hit or miss in April, it can be a complete washout with a lot of terrain closed or rare pow days. I haven’t skied park city but I’ve heard that it melts out quick in the early spring. I think I’m hitting Copper, Loveland, Abasin and Winter Park. Matt Edge is gonna be at Breck then.

For sure..one of my recent customers used to be on the BM ski patrol and I mentioned the TV show and she said,”oh yeah I remember that” coolest story ever. She knew all the ski patrol legends like Mark Miller, Rob Cook, Hans... -

It’s a money saving tactic they know it’s not supposed to rain until tonight. Some years they’re weekends only at the end of the season so at least they were open on Monday and Tuesday. It was like 90% season passholders. -

GrilledSteezeSandwich replied to Jersey Tomato's topic in Blue Mountain
It’s definitely not TheDude who hit 80mph as he’s always making slow and deliberate turns and doing whirly birds..level 2 stuff @Dirtwolf -
Multi-Mountain Pass Pricing
GrilledSteezeSandwich replied to Ski2Live Live2Ski's topic in General Chat
What that’s like movie theater popcorn pricing where it’s like $7.50 for a small $8.50 for a medium and $9 for a large. Fantastic deal.
