I hate paying for parking. When I went to downtown Allentown this last summer for my friends bday I had to pay $3 for parking.

That’s not bad. It’s what it should be cause everybody is gonna pay that. You know what happens when a business undercharges...yes they leave money on the table.

Gotcha well if you ever see me flying down, don’t worry I won’t crash into you or your kid..and I’ll likely be going over 45mph. I don’t know if I’ll ever see you up there. The last two seasons at Blue I’ve only been up opening bell until I don’t feel like skiing anymore and I don’t see going back to afternoon or night moves.

Stopping in the middle of a ski trail at Blue doesn’t seem safe to me.

I never wear a lower body base layer so I’d be screwed if I forgot my ski pants. I did have khaki pants in my car this morning though.

Blue wasn’t busy.

Hey All, I’m back from another fun session at Blue mountain the true mountain. I arrived at the lower lot and it was in the low 20s under sunny sky’s. In the house were Johnny Law, PARidge, Atomic Jeff, BenM, Bethlehem ford guy, Schifdawg and Nancy. It was nice and quiet today with the 8am start. First run on challenge was 9 out of 10 good..I skied that two more times then to Main Street which was even better. The rest of the session just skied Main Street, switchback and lower Widowmaker to midway to Main Street. The line for the six pack was never more than a couple chairs and we managed 13 runs by 9:55am. The conditions were 100% winter conditions but I imagine the snow is getting really sticky by now with the rising temperatures and fresh manmade snow. Now time to do some work. I’ll likely be back on Wednesday AM.

Hey All, I’m back from another fun session at Blue mountain the true mountain. While conditions yesterday were alright but not grate, today was much better. The grooming was excellent and snow was made in various areas around Mont Bleu. Temperatures were in the low teens to start but the sunshine made it feel slightly warmer. Challenge was excellent to start as was sidewinder and especially Main Street. Coming soon was hot and cold but there was some pixie dust blown overnight. Early in the day somebody was seriously injured and had to be life flighted our by a helicopter. I also thought Paradise, switchback and midway were good. I believe I skied 10 runs by 940am and then hungout in the parking lot for about two hours then went to point Phillips for lunch with enjorales, Pops, Salty, Atomic Jeff and Johnny Law. Excellent lunch complimented by a double jack and coke which was more like a triple. Anyway you slice it and dice it, it was just another day in paradise. I’ll be back tomorrow morning for the 8am opening..gotta get it in before Tuesday’s rain.

Dude it’s snowmaking temperatures again tonight and then some midweek rain and warmth then more snow and cold next weekend. It’s gonna be the normal skiing till late March here then you’ll have to travel up north or out west to ski.
