All restrictions will be dropped soon. Beginning tomorrow local catholic school kids can go maskless. It was freaking nice riding the parking lot shuttle bus at JH maskless. Nice report!!!

The walking in maskless was a great feeling back in May when masks were no longer required in PA..today my customer came in wearing a mask and I asked if I should wear mine and she said no I’m gonna take mine off.

There sure are a lot of people at the opening ding ding on weekdays. 9am opening allows a lot of people to be there for opening. I wish they ran the six instead of the quad.

Uphill capacity for the quad is 2,000 an hour and uphill capacity for the six pack is 3,000 per hour. That’s if it’s running at full speed and at full capacity so you can probably shrink those numbers by 30-40%. It’s just that there’s no where to spread out the same people are making 4-6 laps per hour, not like a large resort where people are going from lift to lift to lift.

Well for some going skiing is like going to an amusement park or a sporting event, an occasional activity. Others fall in love with the sport.

Are you going to go out west later this season? At least you have lots of leg room on the plane..

Not everybody cares about money...shit we all spend at least a couple thousand a year on skiing what’s a couple hundred to learn.

They should sell tickets to the event...can go towards the kids college fund.

@saltyant I hope you can help this petite blonde woman newbie out. First give her a warm greeting and maybe some captains wafers or fun dip. Help her get her rental gear...you can help her put on her boots...teach her how to get into her skis...go over the pizza and French fries thing. You might even find love..fa la la la la

That’s not a lot for a private lesson and maybe the OP was hoping an instructor from another mountain could come to camelback for the day. I think it’s hard to become a really good skier if you learn to ski as an adult.

Nice report Nancy..I’ve skied the face to the tunnel before and while it was ok for me a lot of people were struggling as you have to take every turn carefully. The main thing I don’t like about Loveland are no safety bars on lifts except for chair 1

Montage and elk both have some old ass lifts. A friend sent me articles on both evacs.
