I’m glad they blew some snow on the falls. I think I’ve skied midway enough to be prepared for my first double Black Diamond of the season.

We received a truckload of completed Memorial stones today delivered from Vermont and some of the crating had snow on it. Apparently they just received 6”. Here’s some Vermont snow in south whitehall Pa

Time to start blowing on homestretch and razors edge or at least challenge and the falls.

A frozen lazy river to skate on would be cooler. Would be like the canals people skate on in Ottawa Canada during the winter.

Just saying..I think ice skating at Blue would be a nice loss leader. They might not make money off the ice skating but people would hangout longer and spend more on food/beverage and retail.

The only thing is that it would take up valuable real estate, it would need to be staffed, and they’d need rentals.

It would be nice but it would also mean more crowds at opening bell.

Initial they were planning for quarter shares for their hotel/condos. Both me and my dad requested info about pricing and are still waiting. Sheesh by the time it’s built I might be able to afford it.

I never realized how huge hockey is in PA until I joined PASR. At least five hockey players on this page. Nick Malozzi, MBike, TP4, Kyle and Antman. I just did roller hockey as a kid. Never had the option to play ice hockey. I played intramural broom ball in college.

I hope the waterpark has a tiki bar.

Jackson hole has two free ice skating rinks. One in the town square and one at the base of the ski area.

Do you think they’d have fake palm trees like at camel beach?

Why didn’t they build the water park? I know they even hired Searfess construction who was in charge of the summit lodge expansion for the project. They did clear out some trees and put in some parking for the water park. A shame the watermark was never built. Riding water slides was always something I was pretty good at.

Living at such a high elevation has to be a major asset for trips out west. I live at 400 ft.
