A lot of it is due to the harsh Covid rules in democratic states. PA is lucky that after governor Wolf was initially strict, he relented.

Hey All, I’m finished with another fun session at Blue the true. I arrived at the lower lot at 720am and it was in the upper 30s under cloudy sky’s with a fog layer from the peak to the mid mountain. In the house were Atomic Jeff, JFDan, BenM, Indiggio, Drew, Slim, Nastar Glenn, Bethlehem Ford Guy and a few people from jersey. The six pack wasnt running so hoofed it over to the quad. Upper Main Street was soft but had sort of a trench and in the fog. Lower Main Street wasn’t that good semi thick crud. Luckily lazy 1.6 kilometers was decent. I mostly skied that with a foray over to midway which was decent. Skied 7 runs and had two beers before 10am. Not a bad start to a Wednesday. I’m party rocking tonight so likely will take tomorrow off and will be back on Friday to ski with my brother Salty.

Bravo I’m just happy there’s no mask mandate in the Lehigh valley. From TGR....sheesh...the best is Nastar Glenn wearing an ill fitting mask skiing because he doesn’t know if everybody is boosted...he’s definitely a few fries short of a happy meal but a grate guy if you’re reading this Glenn lol and I don’t care what people do but I will post my observations.

Did you like Bolton valley? It’s likely my least favorite ski area in Vermont. It’s like skiing in PA with the drive. Short runs and not very steep.

Over 40,000 new cases in New York and 29,000 new cases in Florida. Today was actually a record number of new cases for this pandemic but testing is also at an all time high.

11,206 new cases today in PA..it will go up. Only 131 new deaths today in PA but deaths are a lagging indicator. Most of those deaths were likely from the Delta variant. Many say that omicron is milder at least among the vaxxed

Hey All, I’m back from a fun morning at Blue mountain the true mountain. I arrived at the lower lot before 720 and it was 35 degrees with lifting fog yielding to some sunshine later. In the house were Atomic Jeff, Toast, JFDan, Tele matt, BenM, Rodney, Indiggio, Tarponhead, Bethlehem Ford guy and Charles. First civilian six pack and Main Street was like my favorite color..butter. Smooth cord that had a slight amount of cushion for the pushing. I repeated that a few times then did some laps on tuts lane to connector to come around to midway to Main Street to shuttle to homestretch. Upper middle and lower Main Street were all so nice. Skied 8 runs by 920am and then spent an hour in the lot soaking up the sun and drinking beer. After yesterday’s not so good conditions, today was. Welcome treat. I’ll be back tomorrow AM. JADIP
