  1. Any free food? Or maybe like a big discount? Blue used to give employees 50% off.. @Shadows hooked me @Zonked and some Others up with his discount when he was a liftee at Blue…I’ll never forgot how $16 magically turns into $8 just because you know the right hombre.
  2. @saltyant did you see any of us on the webcams??
  3. Don’t be surprised if they blow a little of that famous Gak tomorrow morning…gonna be about 30, maybe 29
  4. Is that when you were a liftee? Any perks?
  5. That’s pretty normal for me…
  6. Any good runs there? Isn’t that where you learned to ski?
  7. Same I did ski Tanglewood once in 2006
  8. @Jersey Tomato where do you usually ski? I don’t think I’ve met you yet and you’ve been posting since 2019.
  9. How is eagle rock? I remember when @poconoceancity used to rent there
  10. I grass skied at the Hideout and have stayed at Skytop before. I heard of Elk
  11. Hey All, I’m back from another fun day at Blue mountain the true mountain. I arrived at the lower lot at 720am and it was in the low 40s under overcast skys with moderate winds. In the house was everybody but NMSki, Zonked, Phillycore, Skifreak and Atomic Jeff. Dime was in the house in the PASR row and I skied the first several runs with him. Paradise was sweet cord as was Lazy. The chute had some nice pop and nice snow..I got my biggest air of the season..I touched the sky. Razors was nice corn and challenge had a nice ridge going down to add a live spice. Skytop was officially closed but just barely skiable. I skied until about 10 and it was super empty out. Fun parking lot and we went inside when a little rain shower came through and had a beer then back outside for a little bit. Just before we left, BenM was back with his wife and he was like WTF you’re still here..hey it’s still morning before the spring forward. Anyway as much as I wanted to sleep in today, was nice to be out and again better than expected. There’s a chance I’ll go out tomorrow AM but most likely be back Tuesday for opening. JADIP
  12. I don’t want to get banned. Then I’ll come back as VTMArk3
  13. Nice countertop…I’m just happy Wegners had corned beef and cabbage woooo
  14. The one I think peanut butter be hitting and pops likes them!!!
  15. I have plans at 10am Thursday the day it’s supposed to be 69 degrees and I figured they wouldn’t be open then..the boomers are gonna get all the corn and mud that morning.
  16. Id like a run just like that top to bottom and steeper and afterwards my skis would be faster from the extra texture in the base..if you wanna ski challenge I found the high traverse to be the best. I’m guessing tomorrow will be way different ho near the peak..tuts lane still good…
  17. Beer and boozy iced coffee is pretty good in and of itself. Maybe something salty or sweet you see out in the Berks county area..maybe ring bologna, cheese..donuts…it’s the KISS keep it simple stupid..don’t need to bring shrimp cocktail but I’ll eat it.
  18. To be honest the 69 in the middle of the circle caught my attention the most and also Gak..hate that shit and of course getting pictures from Aspen from Atomic Jeff which he should be sharing with the PASRs.
  19. @DiMe when my mom was a kid, PA ski areas operated on natural snow, my mom was telling me her and her friend skied a road off the back side of bear creek…I mean I guess you could have done that a few weeks ago but was more common then. For places like jackson hole it used to be bone chilling cold most of the winter and now it’s about 30 degrees for the high temperature in town most days..when it’s 20-30 degrees snowstorms are much more powerful than when it’s single digits to low teens…heat=energy…it’s why hurricanes are becoming stronger…The Gulf of Mexico used to be 85 degrees mid summer this past summer some areas were hitting 100 degrees…they may need to add a category six. Our grandparents generation saw a lot of changes in their lifetimes but for us it’s amplified!!!!
  20. Me and Toast had a blast in Jackson hole in 2016…he’s been busy slapping skins…on his skis lol
  21. Hahaha good one @saltyant when I came to the lot and saw you showing Falco and Charles your Droid IPad, I knew y’all were up to serious business.
  22. @DiMe back before the most recent climate change that truly turned this area into MASH mid Atlantic ski hell, Blue would typically close the very end of March or sometimes squeak into early April and typical close with wall to walk coverage on all their runs. Granted, they had much less runs back then to cover but also not as good snowmaking. In 1992 Hunter mountain stayed open until May 5th… This year I truly think they’ll close down due to lack of snow and not lack of crowds…Dime you should try and do a summer trip somewhere. I get it…you’re still sort of in the honeymoon phase as you didn’t ride for a decade and we are all just old jaded..sometimes positive and not hating differences make us all unique. Id much rather have a customer like you than JFDan, you’d be way easier to extract more money out of with the bullshit I spew lol Are you gonna be at Blue tomorrow AM? Could be really nice!!!
  23. Do you really think that’s gonna happen or are you wishcasting? This next week is gonna wipe them out. I’m not being negative I’m being a realist. I am stoked they’ll be open during the week this next week.
