Where did you ski today?

Hey All, I’m back from a fun morning at Blue mountain the true mountain. I arrived at the lower lot at 720am and it was in the mid 20s with moderate winds and cloudy sky’s with a few flakes in the air. In the house was everybody but Zonked, NMSki, Toast and Salty. First civilian OG six pack to razors ledge..snow was pretty nice for the opening of the run and no root rollers. Next run paradise which was nice groomed snow, very pleasant. After that over to the super summit safari six pack to the first upper Main Street of the season and that was the ROTD…was like a western groomer and lower was decent as well. Lazy mile was also good..a little crowded with the race team but they aren’t annoying at all lol. All three high speed lifts were running and I got to ride the comet quad for the first time this season and my first non six pack so far in this young season. Fun but chilly market lot and some went back out for some more. All in all it was moderately crowded but the snow was super good today. Ski some of yall tomorrow.

When are you skiing out there? It’s sticking to the grass and roofs and and trees here in the A, when it gets dark I think the roads will be slick.

I didn’t even check the weather for there but for sure colder than here…you might need to wear socks.

I hope you always put the bar down that’s a heck of a cliff…no footrests on that one but I don’t mind a little dangle unless the winds get crazy

Hey All, Twas the weekend before Xmas who will be in the house..get out and ski you spend enough time with your spouse. Looks like a nice chilly weekend on deck with a little snow possible to start the weekend off extra wintry. Who’s skiing this weekend at Blue? Looks like razors opens

Hey all, I’m back from another morning session at Blue mountain the true mountain. I arrived at the lower lot at 737am and it was in the upper 30s under mostly cloudy sky’s with moderate winds. In the house were BFord crew, Atomic Jeff, Indiggio, Oz and Airhead. The OG six began a minute or two late per usual but I managed first civilian chair. First run on Paradise was fast and smooth and even a little packed powder on homestretch. Lazy had a smooth lane and slightly choppier and the falls was alright my first double black of the season. Up the super summit safari and Widowmaker is now open and was alright a little uneven but no cookies. Midway was smooth and a little slick and lower Main Street was real good with a hardpack lane and a 3D snow lane. I then repeated lazy and paradise a few times and hit up the chute as well which was mad technical Yo. Peaced out right before 1030am…today was my best day so far this season cause I could let my skis run, no cookies and no crowds. JADIP almost time for the weekend roll call thread.

Nice report Barb…and I’m sure your friend appreciated you meeting her for some midweek skiing.

I’ll likely be out Thursday at opening..tomorrow I have two morning appointments and an afternoon one and a haircut and still need to go to Josh early…good thing housekeeping takes out the papers and the trash except I mostly do wahahaha

Sure I’ve climbed a ski slope in ski boots or when I used to earn turns I carried my ski boots and skis on my pack, yeah I used to have a backpack and hiked up in hiking boots. Stowe, Bolton Valley, mad river Glen and McAdoodledoo are all places I’ve earned turns.
