  1. Good one Salty!!!
  2. Nice report…Chris Christie is a legend and glad he’s officially entered the world of ski technique. Nice that the boom crew is out, while Harold is the strongest skier of the group, Bethlehem Ford guy has the most elegant technique and therefore he’s the Jean Claude Killy of the group.
  3. After going to montage, it makes you appreciate Blue. I was on the lift yesterday with a former montage instructor who lives in the city of Scranton and he has a season pass at Blue cause he can’t stand the slow lifts at Montage.
  4. It won’t be busy this Thursday, most ski clubs are finished.
  5. Damn I was thinking they might close tomorrow AM…
  6. Yes and after 30 years I can finally afford the super soaker 6900 and I don’t even want it anymore.
  7. That’s like a triple Diamond.
  8. Then you sort of know what red means..oh and you’re going to Utah..have you heard about soaking? My friend Dennis who lived in Utah and worked at deer valley was telling me about it..it doesn’t involve a Jacuzzi that would be a soak before a soak.
  9. I think there’s a lot of steeps at park city the blues are like blacks and the blacks are like reds.
  10. He’s from the reading area and he’s FB friends with a DJ I know and I trolled him in comments lol but that’s back when I was immature and tactless. O’Doyle rules. And his ex wife has the Karen haircut and crazy Courtney has her same haircut. It’s definitely a high maintenance cut.
  11. When do you leave for Park City? TFTI
  12. Those look like decent skis and boots. If she likes skiing she can take lessons with Mrs Snowbunski next season.
  13. This is getting good…@Salty would flying in ski boots be FAA regulated what about wearing your helmet..I’m thinking of fantastic space saving options…borrow poles from the rental shop..or better get get collapsable poles….
  14. @10:10 the quad line was a full Corral. It’s cause today is the last race day I’d the season and it’s a big one..some sort of tristate regional park ICUP type deal but they stayed off sidewinder and Main Street. They changed up the corner hip jump on nightmare. If it’s warm the day after it rains and then the sun comes out it’s like catching lightening in a bottle.
  15. I like the song..any lines.
  16. I used to ski on the Elan S12 in a 176 the longest they made and those were nice skis but not as good as Kastles.
  17. I definitely saw Nipples today at Blue and not @Nipples or a womens ones..Matt edge just wore his vest party open nothing underneath….working on his tan and my face is 9 out of 10 sunburn.
  18. Bigger balls than brain. @saltyant how was camelback today?
  19. Are you skiing Aspen tomorrow?
  20. Hey all, I’m back from another fun day at Blue mountain the true mountain. I arrived at the lower lot at like 712am and only JLaw and Maryland liftee in the house..not to fear many many more PASRs arrived. The temperature was in the mid 40s under partly sunny skys. First civilian quad to challenge which was pretty smooth and a little soft. Good enough for a repeat then Main Street which was super nice soft cord on top and a little choppier spring snow lower down with some skeet spots. I also repeated that then over to coming soon which was nice chop. Sidewinder was very pleasent and I skied that a few times, a few bare spots, lazy mile was smooth and fast..and empty I think because the OG six pack wasn’t running. There were a few liftlines on the quad, as enjorales said, when the OG six pack isn’t running, they have less lift capacity than two years ago. Skiing stayed well and I pressed on repeated the runs that were nice which was almost everything…I ended up skiing I believe 15 runs by 1030..would have been about 17 if not for the lines. Fun parking lot today with a sausage Sunday and Maryland guy gave me a patch with a bird he made cause I’m an early bird..well I sure got the worm today. Rumor has it this is the last week of weekday operation then weekends only, with the forecast it could be possible…so just gotta enjoy every day. I’ll likely be back at Blue Tuesday AM. JADIP
  21. I saw video from the cardboard classic at montage on Friday looked like a huge crowd and now is the big OAR concert.
  22. Oh just catching up here bottom bunk is alright with me unless we can get one of those triple decker bunk beds they use in submarines..then Matt edge can join us. Be forewarned he howls at the moon around 3am
  23. JH only ran teewinot today. I heard there was a very long line at the liquor store below the mangy moose. Snow king was apparently all time today cause I guess even the town got like a foot and a half. I heard a lot of the snow was heavy and wet down low and up high lighter but 30mph+ winds so high high avalanche danger. Yesterday a 67 year old local in a ski group died in the woods between Rendevous trail and the Hobacks in a tree well. He owned businesses in town. Last week a similar aged person died in a tree well at grand targhee. Slow start out there, enough snow when we were there to not damage skis and ski most of the terrain we wanted to ski and now they’re way above average just like that. They’ll prob end up closing next month with like a 150” base. I’m real tempted to go back this season.
  24. The snow in the trees looks amazing!!!
