First world problems lol

Hey all, I’m back from a fun morning at Blue mountain. I arrived at the lower lot at 715am and it was cloudy with a temperature in the upper 20s. In the house were Antman, JFDan, Toast, Mute, Ryan, Enjorales, Johnny Law, Pops, Falco, Eddie, Charles, Enjorales cousin, Mixilplix, MBike mike and many others. First run on challenge was pretty good..hardback but smooth. Sidewinder was also ok but little cookies the last section which law compared to Chamonix. Switchback was pretty nice and midway and lower Main were lots o cookies and wet manmade. Paradise was nice and lazy had nice snow but slow. Liftlines were long but could have been worse. I managed 9 runs in an hour and 45 minutes. The parking lot involved some beer chips and even a cupcake thanks to MBike mike..I bugged out before noon and at my work now about to eat some Panera. I’m sure others will have more to add.

Just piss next to your car or in the woods.

@saltyant if you ever go on a ski trip with @NMSKI he’ll always make sure you have plenty of towels.

Gotcha nice strategy. Hows the holiday inn express in Ogden? I saw it’s onky $82 a night. That’s cheap.

Blue is offering 50% off rentals on indoor and outdoor event space through August. While they are selling a lot of daily tickets thanks to favorable weather that end of the business is hurting. My cousins wedding that was supposed to be last May is now summer of 2022.

@saltyant are you staying in Salt Lake City tonight? I was looking at Salt Lake City hotels and this place looks rad. In non Covid times when you could use the amenities and not have to have socially distanced soaks would be nice. https://www.grandamerica.com/

were you ever an alter boy?

I hope you at least farted in that gondola..and hopefully it wasn’t a wet fart.

You can get back to your roots with Elans. I had a pair of elan S12s which I liked
-
SaltyAnt how did you like the Elan Ripsticks compared to the RTMs, Kendos and Enforcers. I know you were saying that the Ripsticks are high performance which is rad.

Just be happy you get a lot of vacation time and you got to ski two Olympic mountains this season. Plus when you get back you get to see us all at Blue.
-
I was gonna say have a break but it already says it on your Kit Kat bar. I’d be drinking Gatorade on ice and snack would be a soft pretzel.

@saltyantare there any liftlines and how are conditions?

Behind my work and neighbors house still a solid 250-300 yards of unadulterated snow. If I had a touring setup I’d be doing my best Lupe Fiasco impersonation with a little kick and push.

Congrats on your Blue pass purchase!!!! I used to ski in Vermont multiple trips per season but lost motivation for the drive so mostly been doing JH trip in late January and Colorado skifari in April...boring I know but I’m a creature of habit. I have had a few nice spring pow days in Vermont and it’s where I learned how to ski tight woods.
