Your girls probably think you’re the coolest guy in the world lol. They obviously never met Eaf.
-
Probably but blue pushes their lifts in windy conditions. Other resorts are more conservative

Midnight service call or you find one of the bars that stays open late?

Hey All, I’m done with another AM session at Blue mountain the true mountain. I arrived at the lower lot at 820am and it was windy and in the lower 20s. PASR row was busy because they’re still working on a couple rows on the opposite side of the road. In the house were BenM, C1er and Bethlehem ford guy. First civilian six pack with BenM and a snowboarder who said razors was gonna be fast like a rocket ship. I didn’t want to argue and say that with the 20-30mph northwest wind nothing was gonna be fast. First run on challenge had a few icy spots and a few chalky spots. They blue a small amount of snow across the hill most of which Blew away. Next run sidewinder was decent and more in the sun. Main Street was variable some good some bad but a wind tunnel. Paradise was good until the last pitch where I had to get in a bullet tuck to cut under the wind and the second I stood up my momentum died. Switchback was decent with a few rolly pollys near the bottom and finished off with a few sidewinders. Managed 7 runs in an hour which hasn’t been easy to achieve this season with the liftlines but there weren’t any lines today at least when I skied. Today’s AM skiing makes me wanna get back out tomorrow when there will hopefully be less wind and surely be warmer. Almost every lift ride somebody ate shit on the icy patch near the top of challenge. I don’t know what compels people to think hard carving on ice you can see your reflection in is a good idea...people were taking serious slides. JADIP

I told BenM that PARidge would have given this morning at Blue an 8 our of 10 and for me it was just barely a 5. -
The final weekend in March was tentatively discussed at last weeks sausage Sunday.
-
Well time to boot up and try to get my money’s worth out of my 20-21 season pass.

OMG 23 degrees in Shadowsville -
Blue raised prices 30% and everybody is happily buying season passes. See Blue was smart.

Less than you’d think. I’d say 1/10 of one percent or they’re like Indiggio who are mostly skiing bumps so not cranking out the silly vert. Most prob do 10-15k vert in a day.
-
Salty I’ll say I bet you skied more vert than anybody today at park city with swapping skis.
-
That would be 11 Tram Laps at Jackson hole..at chamonix perhaps 5 off the Auguille de midi woo
-
Fast lifts and zero liftlines. My biggest vert day ever at Jackson hole was 28 runs and 61,000 vert and I stopped for lunch. It was a hardpack day and I did a lot of screaming 3 minutes long 2800 vert runs off the gondola and the skis I was on were 67mm underfoot. Ahhh memories and I had spaghetti for lunch that day from Casper lodge. 9-4+ as I boarded last gondola like 3:57 woo woo woo..although I used an avocet watch in high school I just kept a trail map in my pocket and used a pen to make a tic mark for every lift I rode. On that same trip i also had a 16k day with my Montana buddy who’s so pokey it’s rediculous

On Blues Facebook page people are tagging their friends saying we should do this as in season pass deal and some have already purchased tickets and wondering if they can apply that towards their new season passes. That’s my boy blue...and the $50 break for existing passholders a nice touch. I’ve actually always been a little uneasy that first time passholders received the rest of the season free...gosh what do we get.. years ago bear creek peeps and other areas that closed early received free skiing at Blue. Sort of like the alien pass deal camelback used to do.

44k in a day is solid...those kind of stats would make @Ski2Live Live2Ski Cream his pants. I’ve only had a few days at JH above that and most of my recent trips are more like 20-25k but I quit at lunch a lot.

It’s a good show to watch when you don’t wanna JO

@saltyant next time you go to a Japanese restaurant sing along to this..no Pearl Harbor jokes please.

Kel from Keenen and Kel? Is that Good Burger? Hot and sour soup is what gringos have at Asian restaurants.
