  1. Sounds like a nice hill station yes yes is there a mascot and benches?
  2. Nah he’s more laid back now and likes that you enjoy fine seafood at ski resorts
  3. Wow I’m just seeing this I was..I actually booked a company team building outing tomorrow at Camelback..I was unaware. Do you know anywhere else in the pocono mountains that would accommodate a group of 3 with extreme type winter activities?
  4. Anything in the long range forecast? Should we be planting tomatoes early!! The bass is pretty deep in some areas and pretty shallow in others but thanks to infrared sensors in the groomers, they know the base depth without even a ruler or guesstimating.. @DiMe if need be they could push out some of the jumps on nightmare times dreamweaver and use that extra snow on thin areas lol. Just kidding but why does that second booter on nightmare go straight into a corner with no snow? Are people supposed to land then turn hard left..it’s weird and I viewed it several times earlier but no park rats to ask.
  5. Why didn’t they like the observation tower? I’m adding Gettysburg to my PA bucket list..I’ve driven 15 near Gettysburg about 35 times and never went beyond the sheetz or Burger King at one of the Gettysburg exits. One guy I know used to take his son for a weekend there every year and they’d came in the fields and then stayed at some old school huge hotel and conference center where the Demaloys do their jamborees.
  6. Will they have summer jobs? What a time to be a teenager..even the local hot dog shops are paying $15 an hour. I worked three jobs the summer between 10th and 11th grades. Paper boy, mowed a bunch of lawns and Rita’s Italian ice $4.25 an hour. Now I just ski 2 hours a day or an hour and a half and post random shit online
  7. I bet the bumps were nice. I bet razors stayed nice….raining here in the A for the last hour or so. When I drove away at 10:45am it was 55 degrees and I put the AC on in my car. I should have skipped the upper body under armor and just worn a t shirt under my jacket I’ve been pretty good about not getting fast food much this ski season but I was so sweaty and gross after skiing I got chic fil a…was elite as always…I just got the 8 nugget combo that would be a light snack for @Dirtwolf their buffalo sauce is Buss’n
  8. Good one Salty and stop at the Mint
  9. Nice enjoy, are you staying in your RV? Also stowe is barely supposed to get any rain tomorrow so you might luck out. 5 degrees Friday morning. Brrrr but warming up fast.
  10. Welcome back Tarponhead!!!
  11. Yeah Nastar Glenn stayed at the Alpenhof with his family in 2006 and returned for lunch in 2018
  12. @guitar73 are you still around??
  13. Haha and I feel like our season has been about the same length every year. Early December to late March. She a few random early April and late November days.
  14. Yeah but Blue has been really good. JH wasn’t the same without the Alpenhof being open for lunch.
  15. I thought a big part of Elks appeal was the old slow lifts.
  16. Why the .1% chance of not going? I almost thought I’d see you at Blue this AM lol
  17. Hey all, I’m back from another fun morning at Blue mountain the true mountain. I arrived at the lower lot at 830am and it was 38 degrees and 46 degrees at the upper entrance, mad inversion yo under mostly sunny sky’s. In the house were Atomic Jeff, his work friend, Bethlehem ford crew, Rodney crew, Oz crew, Pops, Eaf and a handful of others. Second civilian Super summit safari six pack to Main Street which was soft soft coed on the top and stiffer below. I split up with Jeff and friend cause didn’t feel like waiting..then did challenge which was a little firmer then Main Street but smooth. Then Widowmaker to chute and chute was just starting to corn up. Then off to razors which was super smooth cord on the left side..just a little soft. coming soon also good and the in run was full on corn. I returned back to the chute and super nice corn on the far right. Then hit up Razors again followed by sidewinder which had a nice mini ditch on the lower left..was nice having an empty run on that since it’s super popular with the goobers. Returned to the Chute again and passed Pops on Raceway and ended my session with another sidewinder. All in all super nice exactly the conditions I expected but less people. I’m thinking they may close tomorrow due to rain. JADIP
  18. Once Blue installed their high speed quad in 1994 I was hooked..hooked on a feeling of spending half as much time on a lift.
  19. Blaze it..420 posts ahhh I remember my second week on PASR lol
  20. Sheesh lol..apparently people were bringing their own sleds to Blue this past weekend..
  21. Wow another PASR chick wooo…that’s not Bunski, Boo, Nancy or Schifdawgs cousin…lol WTGAI Ben!!!
  22. When I first began skiing they were popular as a good majority of people skied in jeans or the elite wore wind pants over sweat pants.
  23. Turn around..
  24. No idea saw it on Facebook. I spent like 35 minutes looking at the boomer Reddit.
  25. My work doesn’t end, I went into work yesterday after skiing, today was a shitshow..responding to emails now..getting pricing info from office manager..but it will all be there after skiing. Also AT&T is giving a $5 credit..apparently boomers were showing up at the local AT&T stores livid and Gen Z employees like,”homey I can’t help you call corporate” lol On topic…one of my reports was titled the best of times..that ended with one 50 degree day turning into back to reality but still decent and tomorrow AM gonna corn up fast. Maybe almost instant with the early sunrise…gonna be good
