Vermont generally has some of the worst ski conditions way worse than PA due to the cold, wind, freeze/thaws and lack of snowmaking. Wind holds on lifts are very common as well.

Do you drink the hotel coffee or maybe buy some cold brew or Kombucha at the local Tim Hortons?

That’s crazy that the lodge was named after two members of the Beatles. Is there also a George and ringo lodge?

Hey All, It’s almost another weekend..is anybody skiing Blue mountain the true mountain this weekend? Looks like nice weather and 39 of 40 runs are open. I’ll be in the house both days..

Hey All, I’m back from another fun morning at Blue mountain the true mountain. I arrived at the lower lot at 720am and the temperature was in the mid 20s under mostly cloudy sky’s with a few graupel pellets coming down. In the house were Ryan, Mute, BenM and C1er. The six pack was having some initial issues so began on the quad and mostly stuck with that lift. I skied challenge first top was good lower not so good then razors a few runs and razors was great early on...almost packed powder. Switchback was good and nice soft cord...sidewinder had some cookies on the last pitch and no root rollers. As time went on the fresh cord on some of the runs turned to mini cookies..no liftlines and the temperature was pleasant. All in all it was a nice session and I even ended on lazy mile which I haven’t skied in a week or two. JADIP..time to make the weekend roll call thread.
