No next season when everybody is vaccinated they’ll be able to fully load the lifts so shorter liftlines but the trails will be busier. Or we have a normal ski season where it rains every other weekend and isn’t that crowded.

Maybe more season passholders were at Blue this weekend otherwise they’re just selling a lot more tickets.

Morning tickets are already sold out for this Saturday.

They do temperature checks at Montage? I was at a diner last week and they checked my temperature there.

Hey All, I’m back from another fun day at Blue mountain the true mountain. I arrived at the lower lot at 7:15am and the temperature was somewhere around 11 degrees under bright sky’s. In the house was everybody but Antman, Enjorales Cousin, Root, PARidge, Nastar Glenn, KevinThomas, Atomic Jeff, johnny law and NmSki.. I thought yesterday was busy but today was busier. The gates opened early at like 745 and BenM, Toast and Salty got to be VVIP which triggered the liftee a little. Second civilian chair and first run on challenge was smooth firm packed powder..sidewinder was similar and very dark and had an empty switchback run as well. I even skied lazy once because toast said the snow was good on it and he was right. Chalky packed powder and fast. Liftlines were outside of the corral by like 845am..maybe a 10 minute wait at 9am went over to the Main Street lift via come around to midway to little gap to Burma. A ski patroller yelled at me to slow down and also cursed at me at the sharp left corner..I’m not dumping my speed before it gets flat..I really like that turn. Was half expecting him to confront me in the lift line..as I was boarding the Main Street chair about to sit in the middle by myself a snowboarder decided to join me at the very last second. He apologized and I said well pull up your mask which he did..was a silent lift ride..chute had newly seeded bumps...so at the top as we were about to unload he said,”if you want I can send you my info” and I said Huh what are you talking about. He said for contact tracing. I was more confused and stunned to even respond...another fucking Eaf who thinks every chair should be filled like it’s 2019...even in past times typically somebody would say are you a single or do you mind if I ride up with you... i was in the lot early...nursed a few beers...then another epic sausage Sunday with shrimp thanks to salty, sausage, Ny strip steak, pulled pork and flatbreads plus a sort of sausage sloppy joe which was awesome. I’m glad I skipped breakfast to have a little extra capacity. I left at 1:15pm with a sunburn...

Hey All, I’m back from a fun morning at Blue mountain. I arrived at the lower lot at 715AM and it was in the high teens with a nice alpenglow. In the house was Salty, JFDan, PSUFlyguy, Nastar Glenn, Enjorales, BenM, PARidge, KevinThomas, Justo, Rose, Charles, Falco and many others. First civilian six pack and challenge first whih was good but a little more frozen than expected considering the recent new snow...switchback was pretty nice and empty and I repeated that..upper main and lower Main both nice and smooth. Sidewinder was good until the last pitch which was sort of slick. Paradise had chalky packed powder and coming soon had ok snow but pretty rocky and I was pretty careful skiing the right side to not destroy my $1100 new skis. Liftlines got pretty long as expected and had some beer and chips in the parking lot. Remember boys and girls tomorrow is sausage Sunday wahahahahooey

Yup that’s when you could really get 8 runs per hour if you were skiing the front face and with a 730am weekend start that means 12 runs by 9am or 20 runs by 10am on a weekend with no lines woo woo woo. Back when I skied blue in high school I was getting 40-60 run days regularly. But my average ski day was 7:30-5 with a lunch break at a table in the lodge...I’d even put my lunch in a locker and buy a soda or chips from the machine. Yesterday was like 1040am and I was like damn that was a long session lol.

Ski good or eat wood.
