Blue isn’t a corporation. I’m still laughing at the bitch fest over $599 season pass prices. Before a few years ago the early bird price was $499. I’m so glad none of you are my customers...it would make my job much less profitable.

You don’t get weighed in when you get vaccine shot and you don’t have to show them a pack of Newport’s. It’s an honor system. It’s gonna be quite a long time until younger folks without health issues can be vaccinated. My Philly teacher friend finally got signed up for her first dose in a few weeks. She could have signed up weeks ago back when I signed up but she felt wrong taking a dose away from somebody she felt needed it more.

Hey All, It’s almost another weekend. Is anybody going to be skiing at Blue mountain the true mountain this weekend? I plan on skiing both days even if it’s raining. Saturday AM might even start out with some snow. Sure you might get wet but I expect liftlines to be reduced and beers still cold.

100% the boomers aren’t taking their mid morning coffee breaks...not to fear after this weekend liftlines and crowds will begin to diminish.

Think of all the brand new skiers and riders who got into it or the people who came out of hibernation after years away from the slopes who are back into it. Maybe some new ski resorts will be built due to the renewed popularity of the sport.

Hell no, I’m gonna have to make some sacrifices to be able to afford the extra $170

Blue has been very good to me. All the other local mountain suck

They’ll spend the extra in gas and Montage would get boring so fast. They open later than blue as well and all slow lifts. Not apples to apples.

And those new ski pants woo woo.

Why should they? They don’t have to. There is a discount you save money if you purchase before 4/1. It’s simple supply and demand. Supply is low and demand is high. I think the $599 price is perfect. Should I be giving customers who purchased from me a discount? Should the bar I’ve been visiting for years give me a discount? Prices have gone up for everything..insurance costs are up, energy costs are up, labor costs are up.

Hopefully there are concerts for you soon.

Most PASRs are just super cheap. Always been that way. I like spending money and with no Jackson hole trip, no Colorado trip last spring, a lot less dining out and bars along with two stimulus checks I think I can handle the increase.

Doubt that but less as well be back to filling chairlifts.

Didn’t feel weird skiing today..although the realization is setting in that we are transitioning from mid season to late season.

You’ll miss the shorter drive and commaraderie.
