I hate to say it maybe it’s this weeks weather or how nice my last few ski days were but my excitement isn’t there.

Hey all, Seems like it’s gonna be the third closing weekend of the season..Blue is open Friday from 12-8 and Saturday from 9-5. Will any PASRs be in the house? Looks like some sun and clouds and seasonably cool weather. Saturday for sure for opening and Friday I’m not sure… Also $50 lift tickets for those with season passes at other resorts.

When I was a kid I studied topo maps galore at the library back before google earth and altimeter watches were a thing and have been to West Point and bear mountain so familiar with the ski hill. I also had a tour of the naval academy with my camp in fifth grade and that was rad got to see the 10 meter platform diving boards. Higher than a Mofo.

Most of the granite imports we receive come through Boston…some comes through Tacoma Washington and then by train..families that purchase custom imports love when they call for their status and I say it’s on a boat in the middle of the ocean….when they get pissed I wanna say at least it’s not sitting at the dock in China or India SMH

If they were gonna replace the whole thing what does it matter about keeping the lens? Honestly for goggles even if they were $200 I wouldn’t go to the trouble you’re going to.

Smelled like a skunk all over Blue the last few days. Must be spring mating season. Today would have been really nice at Blue..I haven’t even checked the webcam in like 6 hours.

Tell us about your wipeout?

We were discussing lift speeds earlier. The high speeds at Blue can max out at around 1,000 feet per minute but they run them closer to 800 fps while the fastest high speed detachable are running up to 1200 fps and most fixed grips are in the 400-500 range.
