Have you done the surface lift at the top of Snowmass? When I was there I did Gawdys a few times. Might be above your ability level but that’s a fun run.

@AirheadD8 I did notice a darker blue band just south of Allentown so that’s probably what delivered so much for you. have you hit any of the backcountry lines in your neighborhood?

Hey All, I’m back from another fun AM session at Blue mountain the true mountain. I was up extra early to clear my car off and for a slower than anticipated drive which took normal time and arrived at the lower lot at 710am. It was in the upper 20s and the snow was just tapering off. Reports of 12-14” new snow in the southern Lehigh valley..in the western part of Allentown there was about 4-5” and about 3” of new snow at Blue the true. It wasn’t the heavy wet snow of the other day..more medium density. In the house were Atomic Jeff, JFDan, MBike mike, Dirtwolf, Falco, Enjorales, Mute, Boo bear, BenM, Becky Boo, Indiggio, Gary’s kid and many others. Second civilian OG 6pack..atomic Jeff snagged the first one..no stops so despite the quad loading about 20 seconds before, I made it to the top before those hoards and low and behold it was like the old days with Razors open. Woo woo woo razors was sweet effortless skiing with a couple inches of Pow Pow on top of smooth groomed snow…that was a nice run untracked top to bottom. Second run razors was closed for the race team and lots of untracked on challenge, enough that I skied challenge again to milk the last of the untracked on the left hand side. Next up was the Super summit safari six pack for a run on come around to x-ing to Main Street to switchback to Main Street to shuttle to barbs way. Of course freshies on X’ing..Main Street was super nice and switchback still had some leftover mini cookies. I did a repeat of the same run mainly to get the last of the freshies on X~ing then over to the quad for coming soon. Coming soon saw a lot of early traffic and was mostly mini Pow bumps…was pretty pleasant to ski. Then back to challenge which was still very nice…then a nightmare to dreamweaver which was mini pow bumps you just skied through. I found the crowds early to be pretty tolerable..short 1-3 minute lift lines until about 920am..trails were pretty crowded. I ended the session with another challenge while Falco and Atomic Jeff skied sidewinder which they said was smooth..and final run on raceway to chute to lower main lots of 3D snow but pleasant and minimal scratchiness. Conditions today were better than any of my 7 ski days this season at Jackson hole. Was a fun parking lot with beers snacks and an impromptu sausage Sunday with sausage and pork loin compliments of Enjorales. Mid morning there was a lot of sun and then it got cloudy and windier. I think the new snow will groom out well..conditions tomorrow should be excellent packed powder, I’m just hoping they don’t blow snow..save that for when I’m not there. JADIP

More snow in Allentown than at Blue. My guess is 4-5 inches in the A and 3 inches at Blue. I wouldn’t call it champagne powder but more medium density. @AirheadD8 let’s see a picture of the foot.

I hear you, you’re doing pretty well…I’m just hoping to get one empty run on switchback tomorrow after an empty challenge then everything is gonna be crowded. If the roads are spicy in the lowlands could delay the crowds by a bit.

Remember everybody park close in the lot to allow for more people in the row….Johnny law beats me to blue a lot, his element is Fast..he’s in Utah hanging out with Karl and Post Malone..Scion guy will prob be there and Bethlehem ford crew. Nastar Glenn should be in the house..Yo VIP kick it..could be some Pow tomorrow AM

My friend has a tree cutting business. He’d prob give you a ride to the mountain if you let him use your buddy pass. He’d even show you his Dingo. Even I think it’s badass…

Well the roads might get better as you get closer. The other day was amazing…I passed out early and was awakened by heavy rainfall…saw it snowing on the blue cams and within a minute the rain changed to snow and ten minutes later all the cars were covered and roads. @mute1080 calls it thermonuclearer thermal dynamics and he’s right!!! I said it was gonna take awhile to stick cause was 47 degrees and then rained and nope…

All I look at in an average day at work are peoples names. The one families name is McCoy so when I see this file I always have this song in my Herman.

It’s basically a holiday after it snowed in the lowlands. When people saw what they’re charging for this weekend, they hopped on lower priced tickets for today.

Oh I thought the senior pass was good for unlimited…I guess the email was meant for midweek passholders.

Don’t they have liftline organizers out at the three high speeds.

Nope tickets today are still under $100 for 8 hour and tomorrow it’s $119 and rising. And weekday hours today. C1 I didn’t know you had An off peak pass. Is next year when you get the cheap pass??
