Salty I’m just amazed you can go that many hours without checking PASR...back in high school I went the entire school day without checking the internet and when I’d get home I’d log onto America online and catch up on the ski Vermont discussion list and rec skiing alpine newsgroup. Do you make homemade cocoa or from a mix??

Nah they never planned on opening lazy today...they expanded ticket sales from about 300 per session to about 1500-2000 per session from Thursday to Friday but now they aren’t selling anymore daytime tickets Friday-Sunday. Lazy wouldn’t lead to more ticket sales..more lifts would. What happened as I said was that there was only one morning ticket left for today as of Tuesday night and only a few dozen afternoon tickets left and miraculously Wednesday morning there were several hundred of each available and they all sold out yesterday

Town and country across the street from the golden eagle is a good choice and no resort fee.

I’ll post a report tomorrow around Noon and let you know how it was. I’m not expecting any lines on the quad and six pack. The glitch actually was for today’s ticket sales. They had one morning ticket left Tuesday evening then on Wednesday morning they had several hundred available.

Blue isn’t selling any more tickets during the daytime Friday-Sunday so back to the country club.

I’m about a mile and a half from Root 309. We have something in common.

Resort fees are BS. I had to pay like a $35 resort fee when I stayed at Skytop. Were any of the resort amenities even available besides wifi?

Yes they will but it’s very rare for such a large number of season passholders to also show up on a weekday..about as rare as it snowing a foot in MASH mid Atlantic ski Hell.

Most people are working from home and can ski on weekdays. If the quad and six pack were open the amount of people there today wouldn’t have been that atypical for a midweek pow day. BenM when everything is open and we have a real pow day I expect to see you waiting for first six pack way before opening ding ding. You gotta get that Perder or as some call it Poe..mad Edgar Allen

I was thinking I hope the governors office doesn’t see some of those pictures. Anyway today was the perfect storm. It snowed in the flatlands, there’s tons of pent up demand from season passholders and day ticket buyers alike, Blue sold way too many tickets, limited terrain open and limited lift capacity with many riding as singles as well. When the quad and six pack are open tomorrow through the end of the season it won’t be like this. Also with the lodge basically closed you don’t have hundreds of people going inside at lunch time either. People show up at 10 or 11 for the start of their morning 4 hour session and then others show up at exactly noon for the start of their PM session crazy. I’m glad I didn’t go today but for the first hour would have been fine it’s just seeing the snowguns and groomers going on lower Main Street took away any stoke that I’d get from a pow day. Still 3D snow.

It’s definitely not cold enough for most to need a mask besides Eaf and Salty. Masks aren’t required while skiing just in the liftlines, walking through the lodge and on the lifts with others.

They are actually selling a limited amount (400) night tickets for Saturday and Sunday.

Good news for season passholders @ClubBleu

They should have charged more for today even just $59 instead of $49. They left money on the table. I bet the French Fry stand is doing well.
