Ridge you do this a lot. You’re lucky I’m not a mod cause I’d tell you to deal with it. -

Blue Mountain - COVID-19 Update
GrilledSteezeSandwich replied to toast21602's topic in Blue Mountain
Well there’s also a lot more testing and people are fatigued by all this. Also realize there’s a certain percentage of people who don’t care. I didn’t go out to bars or restaurants for outdoor dining until July fourth and between then and Halloween was only indoors maskless around people like twice but there are bartenders and servers and patrons who are out multiple days a week and haven’t got the Oy Vey Covey or maybe they did but symptoms were less than a bad hangover. Just look at how poorly the average person wears a mask. Shit I still see masks made from old t shirts with ears cut out. That is some hickory dickory dock shit. I said it before the PASRs are generally more educated than the average person and most are good people so have been taking precautions. Average people are doing a lot of the same stuff they always did like going to diners regularly and having thanksgiving with extended family. My friend who’s super strict about Covid, went to thanksgiving with extended family due to Fear of missing out. She said she even wore a mask around her pregnant sister. I asked if anybody else wore a mask and she said no. They just want some yummy in their tummy and normalcy. -
We should do a Skifari together and only separate hotel rooms needed..you’d have a fucking blast..no carpooling to the airport either.

I was thinking about it..he wouldn’t even have to chip in for gas since I use the company card for that, a box of fruit by the foot would be helpful.
-
I should...Blue should have a link to their weather stations. The snowmakers have several weather stations throughout the mountain.

I know it’s an inversion day when Allentown is cooler than mount pocono. The biggest temperature variations between low and high elevations are actually when the humidity is high like right now.
-
Where is this the forecast for? I find the Palmerton forecast to be bad. Typically for temperatures at least I find Blue to be about halfway between Allentown and mount pocono..

Blue Mountain - COVID-19 Update
GrilledSteezeSandwich replied to toast21602's topic in Blue Mountain
5676 new cases in PA. Lehigh county numbers look lower than they’ve been in awhile. I haven’t even checked nationwide numbers today but wouldn’t be surprised if it’s over 200,000 and over 2500 deaths if not today really soon. -
Seriously, WTF is with this Weather?

If moist I’d say about 28 if dry 31-32 -
I’m so far behind in the miles on my lease I should drive for some trips up north.
-
If the humidity wasn’t so high they could probably give snowmaking a go later tonight.

VT is basically off limits this season. Try whiteface, Gore or New Hampshire.

Rain or sleet in Utah?? @saltyant our Verbier trip with Matt Edge has been postponed. I actually found a hotel room we can all stay in it has three beds but we can push them together

We kept it real cheap. I didn’t even order a second drink or dessert.

I get that when I pay the health insurance bill at work for myself and two families and got that the one night I bought the world green tea shots at the bar wahahahah

Plus the second and third tier resorts out west aren’t that expensive and can rock hardcore. Loveland is I think $70 or so for a full day ticket and I don’t think abasin has crossed the century mark yet. Inflation is real.
