Blue is a lot more accessible for a daytrip than Stowe especially with the Covid-19 restrictions. Anyway Blue is trying to encourage people to make reservations in advance on non peak days. I’m sure they will sell plenty of tickets at all price points.

Hey All, Opening weekend is fast approaching. The temperatures look to be comfortable and stoke is at an all time high after the longest off season many of us have ever experienced. Who is gonna be in the house? I plan on skiing all three days. I tried on my boots last night and wow are they tight. Being barefoot most of the last 9 months has not helped and I think my calf’s grew from all my walking. I’m looking forward to easing into the skison with some runs and fun.

I will say that $79 for a night skiing pass is bullshit and for 4 hours not the old school 4-10pm and also I will say that sure can buy a ticket for janajarh 3rd now for 8 hours for under $60 but who knows the weather and what not. I just don’t really get how all of a sudden tickets at Blue hit $109 for an 8 hour ticket. Even like $80-85 is a lot easier to swallow. It’s interesting reading the FB comments and laugh that I’ll probably spend more on beer this ski season than my season pass.

It’s lemonade stand economics. They’ve got it dialed in and can fine tune as needed and if you search around dates and sessions plenty of better deals. Supply and demand. Supply is low and demand is high. Days of $25 opening day lift tickets are extinct like the DoDo bird and the Whooly Mammath

The fact that Blue is selling a four hour ticket where you must be scanned in for first lift ride before noon has me thinking the 11am or noon start is some rumor started by Mrs. Snowbunski.

People were not at home for Rona during last ski season. The last week of the season they only were open Monday and then Saturday and Sunday. Before that we didn’t even know there would be lockdowns and shit. Closing day 3/15 we didn’t even know what social distancing was yet. I remember going to the liquor store on 3/17 the last day state stores were open and the store was packed everybody was butt to nuts in line. I was like I better get two bottles of jack instead of one lol. I had no idea they’d be closed for two months. Thank god for the distillery

I agree any reduction in operating hours is a bad thing...also would be shitty for the rare midweek pow day..it gives so much more time for people to arrive
