In Allentown they have the mayoral, school board, city council and judicial races in odd numbered years which is good and bad. Good because those candidates get more media coverage and bad because turnout is Abysmal during off year elections. I’ve only voted in presidential election years and once in a non presidential election year for Charlie dent because he used to smoke weed with my buddy Gary 40 years ago.

Quit hating on mail in voting. Making it easier for people to vote, especially during a pandemic is a good thing. Voting should be done over the internet but I’m sure it could get hacked.

My mom called me today and said no Xmas this year. So for the first time in years can ski on the 23rd and 24th. I don’t think people should have thanksgiving inside with people outside their immediate households. I’d feel bad if I got Covid and gave it to my parents and killed them or made them real sick. I was in New Hope and Lambertville and their outdoor mask usage is way more than in Allentown. Probably a more similar demographic than Boulder..lots of democrats and BoBos..Bourjois Bohemians...Rich artsy fartsys.

How long after the reservations went online did you check? Looks like more place should open out there in the next week or so and things spread out more. It’s gotta be especially rough for the people who are used to skiing almost everyday.

In Boulder are masks common outdoors? I have not seen anybody wear a mask on any of my walks but I remember you were saying some neighbors yelled at you for not wearing one. Reminds me that I need to order more masks. My Tommy Bahama masks aren’t in season anymore.
