My sisters friend has a 16 year old daughter who played sports who just got Covid..not too bad..lack of taste and fever. My sister hangs with the girls mom so she got tested yesterday..cases are just so high I don’t see team sports being a good thing now. It just expands a persons bubble so much.

Leaving the stare and returning with caution is less risky than going out to the local bar to see a band play inside. Before they asked people who visited states like Florida to quarentine upon return and hardly anybody did. I don’t see many people actually being tested or quarantining upon return unless there is serious enforcement.

I think that is a part of it along with youth sports, indoor bars and dining, protests, rallys and I believe a lot are just a few couples getting together inside somebodies house to have food and drinks. A lot of people are hugging like normal. I saw some guy give a friend a kiss in the cheek when she had a mask on. Weird wild stuff.

I would say wrong on that one. If airlines are not fiscally sound they’re gonna cut corners with safety procedures and replacing old planes..as somebody who flies a couple times a year with aspirations to fly a lot more, I want the airlines to do well.

I wasn’t thrilled when my delivery driver said he ate at the Cracker Barrel with his family this last weekend. A month ago I wouldn’t even bat an eyelash but shit is too hot for indoor dining in my humble opinion. After a few weeks of not going out I am tempted to sit outside this weekend at a local bar or restaurant and daydrink since it’s gonna be 60 and sunny.

My office manager never uses any of the gift cards she receives. One of our dealers gave her a $50 one for Cafe enoteca last year and she still hasn’t used it...but I hear you. I’ve probably spent the most money this pandemic at the Shanty on 19th Street.

That’s nice and a good idea maybe I’ll do that for my employees..gift cards for carrabas where we do our Xmas lunch. Used to always be at the Apollo grill but they’d order like a soda and cheeseburger not like old delivery guy who would order half the menu.

Probably gonna close down bars and limit indoor restaurant capacity to 25% and reduce the size of gatherings both indoor and outdoor. That’s my guess.

Early openings are like stealing..cause years they don’t open well into December there is extra pent up demand by then so just a lot more people those early days. I don’t remember last season being that crazy opening weekend and also Root Friday.

If I owned Blue I’d open this weekend...I’d make it happen...but only for Season passholders and everybody on opening day gets a blue mountain mask...
