Riding the Amtrak accela is on my bucket list and I definitely want to visit Japan sometime and ride the bullet trains. @saltyantif you visit Japan you can stay in a capsule hotel and visit the bath houses.

When I took Amtrak to Florida and to Atlanta as a teenager I liked the snack and dining cars. I remember decent pancakes and sausage. On a video I recently watched about Amtrak it was said that the steak dinner is quite good and comes with a salad and baked potato. Having a nice meal while the scenery passes by sounds good to me.

I got my gameboy stolen on Amtrak. The train I was on from Amsterdam to Basel Switzerland I had my own little compartment like one bench seat on each side and just when I was falling asleep ticket checkers came through with flashlights.

I agree...and age doesn’t really matter once you become an adult can be friends with people of all ages.

Bars and restaurants are fully open and they’re only averaging like 4-5,000 cases a day for a state with double our population but I think they’re fudging the numbers and have had tons of cases for months while we were alright. Like why even wear a mask..if you’re gonna wear it like this. Hair stylist is the donkey of the day Hee Haw Hee Haw

I was just at Whole Foods. Was crowded...they are no longer spraying down the belts between customers even though there’s a sign saying to wait to place items on belt until they spray it down. A lot of people out and about reminds me of mid March before the lockdown.

A lot of stores were sanitizing the belts between every customer early in the pandemic but I don’t see as much of that. What’s annoying is at the one state store they have an employee stationed at the door I guess to monitor how many are in the store and it’s impossible not to be within 2 feet of them. People arent doing as good of a job keeping their distance in lines. I swear I’m gonna start touching people who get within arms length and say sorry didn’t know my arm was over six feet long.

My friend who works at the intermediate unit with special kids has a coworker who got sick and tested positive for Covid. They are now going virtual for two weeks. I asked her if she’s getting tested and she said no because she has no symptoms but she’s quarantining for two weeks yet she lives with her old parents. Shit is getting really really hot.

I saw a video from the new Dave and Busters and it’s packed and the Covidiots are mostly dick nosing it. The same people who say the government can’t tell them not to have large thanksgiving gatherings.
